Was in an accident when she was 17, a building collapsed and she was trapped under the debris, she had too much damage to her left foot so they had to amputate the leg from below the knee.
She was in a long relationship with Arizona Robbins while they worked together during their residency, until Arizona ended their relationship when she had to move across country to seattle.
Georgia's mother got diagnosed with terminal cancer not long after Arizona left her, so she moved back to London to take care of her. She lost contact with Arizona but did manage to stay in contact with Barbara Robbins, she was like a second mom to her.
This story is based around season 7 but there are a few other parts added in to it. And parts moved about.
