3 weeks later

As her due date got closer and closer Georgia was starting to worry about what will happen once he is born

Russell; what if something bad happens when I'm in labor or.. or what if he doesn't latch on or if he doesn't like me. What if I leave him somewhere.

Robbins; babe you are being silly,
number 1, if something bad happens we will sort it, luckily his mama is the best pediatric surgeon there is plus all of our friends are doctors.
Number 2, if he doesnt latch you can pump or formula.
Number 3, of course he will like you, your his mommy.
And lastly, you are not going to leave him anywhere.

Russell; but..

Arizona puts her finger on Georgia lips to stop her talking.

Robbins; everything is going to be fine, trust me, anyway babe we should really head to work for your last day. Are you excited?

Russell; do I look excited. I just have a strange feeling something is going to happen.

Arizona gave her a kiss and led them both out of the house to the car.
They arrived at the hospital Georgia was paged to the pit straight away so she kissed Arizona and headed straight there.
When she arrived she put on a gown and gloves and headed out to the ambulance bay. Followed by her intern for the day Jo wilson. Jo had been working with Georgia alot and they had a really good friendship and worked well together.

Russell; hey Keps, what we got, anything good?

Kepner; hey, sadly we got a lot of GSWs heading in, there was a shooting at a school.

Russell; shit.

The first of many rigs turned up with a 16 year old boy with multiple gun shot wounds. Georgia and Jo ran him straight to trauma room 1.

Russell; okay I count 5 entrance wounds, Wilson let's get a scan to see if any bullets are still inside him, also page cardio this one is very close to his heart.

The boy somehow was still conscious and screaming in pain,

Russell; okay, your going to be okay, can you tell me your name at all?

Boy; mmm.. Mar.. Martin.

Russell; okay Martin I'm going to give you this sedative to ease your pain okay, you are going to be fine.

Wilson; so all of the bullets were through and through except the one to his chest.

Russell; where is cardio? He needs to get to the OR now. Page them to meet us there, we can't wait any longer. Wilson you are scrubbing in.

Wilson; thank you Dr Russell.

They ran him down to the elevator and bump into a young looking doctor with dark skin and curly hair,

Doctor; can anybody tell me how to get to the ER, I'm Dr Maggie Peirce, new head of cardio,

Russell; cardio, follow me, I paged you.

Georgia informed Maggie about the patient on the way to the OR, while scrubbing in Georgia had a sharp pain in her tummy but ignored it.

Peirce; are you all good, when are you due?

Russell; yeah I keep getting practice contractions and the most inappropriate times, I'm due in about 4 weeks.

Peirce; ooo exciting. Let's do this.

They get gowned and gloved then started to remove the bullet, after 15 minutes Georgia got another sharp pain in her tummy.
