chapter 10

Had a small edit my timings were off for next few chapters

Time jump 2 years

The attendings were in the conference room discussing a case coming up to separate a set of siamese twins.

Hunt; so we need to decide who is going to be going out to boise to do this procedure, we will definitely need Dr Shepherd and Dr sloan. Dr Robbins who from peds will be going?

Robbins; Dr Russell will be going along with Dr Karev.

Hunt thats fine, also Dr Shepherd we will need 3 more residents aswell.

Shepherd; both Greys and Yang.

Hunt; perfect, so you 7 will be heading out Sunday evening so come up with a plan over the next few days and we can go from there.

The planning went perfect and they all felt ready for this challenge ahead of them. The day they were due to leave Georgia got a message from Arizona

AR- GiGi I need you. Can you meet me outside X

Georgia- sure I'm on my way. X

Georgia got outside to find Arizona in tears,

Russell; hey, what's up?

Robbins; that idiot is going to die all because he was too stubborn to come to me sooner.

Russell; Nick???

Robbins; yes Nick, they couldn't save him and now I'm loosing the last part of my brother there is left. I can't do this anymore

Georgia hugs Arizona then they head back inside. Karev had accepted a place at Hopkins which Arizona was not happy about at all  in the end she decided to take his place on the trip to Boise. They all boarded the plane and it took of normally,  after 20 minutes there was a lot of tubulance and everything went black.

Georgia woke up outside in the dirt and all she could feel was pain. All she could hear was screaming from the somebody. As she fully came around her body was met with an immence amount of pain in her side, she head inaudible voices in the distance and the screaming stopped.
Georgia checked herself over as well as she could.
She had a shard of debris on her left side just below her ribs and another in her left upper arm, she tore the bottom of her scrub top to use to stop any bleeding and she pulled the debris out of her arm.
Russell; fuck!
She wrapped the wound on her arm stopping the bleeding.
She looked around her, she saw she was in the woods somewhere and all around her was parts of the plane they were on.
She had a look down at her legs, her prosthetic was broken with the foot gone.

Russell thought to herself; fuck I need to find the others.

She managed to stand herself up on her right foot to get a better view of where she was and where everyone else could be. She could just about see the nose of the plane so she thought she would try to head in that direction. She stumbled over forgetting about her broken prosthetic,

Russell; oh crap.

She managed to find a branch to use as a crutch so she wouldn't keep falling over which couldve caused her more damage.

Russell; I just need to get to the nose of the plane then hopefully more people are alive... hopefully Arizona is alive, fuck I hope she is alive.

She sobbed gentle tears at the thought of her being dead. She hobbled on for what felt like hours, the inaudible voices had quietened down but she could hear a man call out, she could only make out a few of his words but couldn't recognise the voice. Then she heard a woman's voice the one voice she desperately wanted to hear.

Robbins; Stop! Stop!

Georgia was more determined to get there once she heard that sweet voice, knowing she was alive. She made it to the nose of the plane but had to stop to catch her breath

Robbins; hello who's there. Cristina? Meredith?

Georgia hopped around the front of the plane and saw her friend sat up against the door of the plane

Robbins wide eyed and holding back her tears; Georgia... y y your alive. I thought you were dead.

Arizona broke down into tears as Georgia managed to get herself down in front of her.

Russell also crying; hey, hey, we are both alive... shit Az your leg we need to try to splint it.

With that Cristina came over,

Yang; oh Georgia your alive, thank god we have found lexie but she is in pretty bad shape, oh I've got these for your leg Robbins.

She places them down and Georgia began to strap up Arizona's leg.

Russell; okay, this is going to hurt like a bitch and I'm really sorry,

Robbins; ju-just do it.

Arizona sceamed out in pain as Georgia tightened the make shift straps around her leg.
Georgia slumped down on Arizona's right side with tears streaming down her face, she placed her arm around her and  just sat there hugging her, just so thankful they were both alive, Arizona leant her head on Georgia's shoulder and sobbed into her neck. They both sat there crying into eachoth when they saw the others coming over dragging something or someone,
It was Mark.

Russell; what happened

Cristina; he had a cardiac taponard we had to drain his pericardial sack. Hes holding on for now

Robbins; where's lexie?

They all stood in silence until Mark croaked out

Sloan; lexies dead.

Meredith; so we should get a fire started.  

Cristina noticed the shard sticking out of Georgia's side and managed to remove the piece and close up the wound using safety pins . Georgia screamed as she did it.

Yang; you are lucky it doesn't look as though there is any damage to any of your organs, nice tattoo by the way.

Russell looked at the wound and said; it was nice anyway.

They all heard what sounded like a helicopter fly over, Derek tried to use the flare gun but it didn't work. They got a fire going as the darkness of the night drew nearer.
Georgia and Arizona snuggled into eachother to try to keep warm with marks head leant against Georgia's leg. The others were sat together on the other side of the fire.

Russell; I'm so glad I managed to find you. I don't know what I wouldve done if you were gone. I can't believe we lost lexie. (Georgia started to sob) look Az I need to tell you something incase either of us don't make it out of here alive. I- I-  I love you Arizona.

Robbins; I love you too GiGi.

Russell; no Arizona you don't get it, I'm in love with you, I've always been in love with you. To the extent I'd want to be with you like Callie is now, like we were before you left.

Robbins; oh, Georgia I...

Russell; no its fine, I'm happy for you and Callie, I'd rather see you happy and love you from a far. I just needed you to know that.

Arizona grabbed a hold of Georgia's hand intertwining their fingers and gently leant on her shoulder.

Robbins; we are going to be fine, we all are.

5 days later they were found by search and rescue and taken to the nearest hospital. Georgia's injuries were only minor and she was dehydrated,  all she wanted to do was go home. There was nothing she wanted more. Owen and Bailey visited and told her they were being transported back to seattle and that they would all be put under sedation.
