chapter 57

Georgia went over to Jo's as she knew she had the day off. She needed to think this through on what she should do and say to Arizona. She was completely heartbroken but at the same time, she was still madly in love with her. Georgia needed her person to help her know what was best. She arrived at Jo's and knocked on the door.

Wilson; hey George, where have you been all week, so much has happened, Eliza got fired...

Russell; I know Jo. Look I need to tell you something important and I need you to be totally honest about what you would do in my situation.

Wilson, umm... okay, shoot.

Russell; Arizona slept with Eliza and I caught them, that's why I've been on leave this week, she keeps apologising but I don't think I'm ready to forgive her yet. Umm... but at the same time, I just want to forget this all happened and hold her and never let her go. Also, I slept with a firefighter last night, does that make me as bad as her. I've asked her to meet me tonight to talk. which reminds me can you and Alex have the kids overnight, please?

Wilson; whoa, she slept with Eliza? You slept with a firefighter?

Russell; yeah, but she doesn't know that yet.

Wilson; of course I'll have the kids, screw what Alex says, what are you going to say to her?

Russell; I'm not sure, she has broken my heart, what would you do?

Wilson; I'm not sure George, maybe have a break from each other? But no sex with anybody else. Then you both might start to see what you miss about each other and then after a while start fresh.

Russell; I fucking love her Jo.

Wilson; I know you do.

Russell; I can't lose her but I need to know why she did it.

Wilson; you can just hear her out, then make a plan together for your break. Then once that's over start again, take her on dates, I'll always have my favourite niece and nephew.

Russell; thanks Jo, I better go get the kid's stuff sorted and then I'll bring them over. Thanks love you.

Wilson hugging Georgia; love you too George.

Later that day Georgia collected the kids and took them to Jo and Alex's then drove home to talk to Arizona. She went in and made herself a cup of tea while she waited for her to get home. She was lost in her thoughts when she heard the front door open.

Robbins; hi, your here.

Russell; hey.

Robbins; I've missed you.

Russell; I missed you too.

Arizona walked up to Georgia and leant in to kiss her but Georgia pulled away.

Russell; we need to talk.

Robbins; okay... let's talk.

Russell; I don't want to argue but I've been thinking we should have a break for a while.

Robbins; okay?

Russell; why did you do it?

Robbins; GiGi, I am truly sorry, it just kinda happened.

Russell; you keep apologising but it's not going to change the fact that you slept with her.

Robbins; no I know. But I will apologise every day if I need to.

Russell; you don't have to do that. I just need to have time and we need to be 100% honest with each other...
