Laya hated that Hadeon was right, and it wasn't just for her sake she needed to do it, but also for Hadeon's. Laya had her hood on and held tight in one of her daggers. Hadeon was watching, making sure no one would come and see them. Laya breathed heavily when she saw the door open and the prince go out.
Is this gonna be the kill that will make my heart fade away? Laya asked herself.
Laya had a weird feeling in her body, that she couldn't really figure out what it was. Her mind kept going back to the fact that she hadn't told Hadeon the three words that would change their relationship forever.
She was stuck in an abandoned street right outside the castle. Hadeon had somehow managed to get the prince out here late at night. He hadn't told her how he had done it. But she trusted him.
Layas arms were shaking with rage. She had always hated the prince, and now she was gonna end his life. But something was wrong. Laya wanted to go back, and pretend like he didn't know. But she needed to do this, for her and Hadeon.
"What do you want?" The prince hissed.
Laya stepped out from the shadows.
The prince looked her up and down.
"You wanted to make a deal?" The prince said "What's the price? For you to leave and never come back?"
Laya took off her hood, and the prince's face was blank. Laya cursed to herself, she didn't know why she cried. Her sword was shaking and she looked into his eyes.
"I don't wanna do this." She whispered with her tears running down her cheeks.
The prince understood what she was going to do. He turned around and started running towards the door. If he got in everything would be over. She needed to do it now.
Laya jumped forward and stuck the dagger in the prince's back. He got completely still before he falled down on the street. Laya dragged out her dagger from his back before he hitted the ground.
