After living in the castle for half a year straight, Sarai discovers she has snagged Dimitri's heart for herself when her father opens her bedroom door and walks over to her bed with a surprise for her on November 4th, 1181. He sits down on the bed before he pulls out a jewelry box and opens it to reveal his goddess ring inside. "This ring belonged to your mother before she died when you were very young.", he told her. "In the days after her death, I resigned from being captain and fled from the monastery with you in my arms. After this, I spent the next full decade raising you away from the church as a mercenary because I was a mercenary prior to becoming captain of the knights.", he added. "Why wasn't I able to reunite with you at all for eleven years after you and all of our mercenary company disappeared, Father?!", she asks him. "Sarai.", he said. "I literally had to grow up as a sole mercenary after the disappearance!", she told him. "I'm sorry, Sarai. Had you found me sooner, I likely would've helped you protect yourself from all of the pirates, thieves and bandits you had to take on all by yourself for eleven years.", he said apologetically before he took the ring out of the box and placed it in her hand. "Go on now. Dimitri's waiting for you in the parlor.", he told her before she got right up from her bed and walked out of her bedroom. Patricia was talking to her stepson in the parlor when they heard footsteps and turned around to see Sarai walking towards them. "Are you ready to start making preparations, dear?", he asked her, which made her blush, for as far as she was concerned, she'd never been called by a pet name by anyone before, but she quickly answered yes. Therefore, they spent the next two weeks getting themselves ready for their wedding. Sarai knew she was extremely lucky Dimitri had chosen her to be the next queen, as his parents had right away stepped down from the throne after he was crowned king by Rhea. While Dorothea & Mercedes were helping Sarai with her makeup and hair inside her bedroom, Patricia & Bernadetta were helping the maids sew the white dress she was going to wear for the wedding in another bedroom of the castle. Once the dress was fully finished, Mercedes sent Sarai over to the other bedroom, where the maids helped her put it on and placed a blue choker around her neck, white gloves on her arms, a silver veil on her head and a silver crown on top of the silver veil and they helped her step up onto a small pedestal before they left. After this, Sarai sighed and turned her gaze to the sky outside. She knew very well she was going to be involved in politics because of her marriage to Dimitri. She remained in the bedroom until Patricia helped her down off the pedestal and brought her over to her father, who guided her down to where the wedding was going to take place. "Your mother would be proud of you if she could see how much you've grown.", Jeralt told Sarai as he led her down the aisle towards Dimitri, who took her hand when they reached him, allowing her father to join the wedding guests. After half a hour, they turned to each other and kissed one another, ending the wedding. Three whole days later, Palace Hresvelg launched a surprise attack on Castle Blaiddyd, forcing lovely Sarai, who was recently crowned as queen, to escape from the castle and flee from the kingdom capital in her blue dress and with her own hero's relic in her possession, after which she travels right to the Leicester Alliance, where she is discovered and taken in by Claude.
