TIME JUMP: June 6th, the Last day of school
The Wildcats sit in the theatre staring at the clock everyone chanting 'Summer'.
EVERYONE (chorus)
"Come on. What time is it?. Summertime. It's our vacation. What time is it?. Party time. That's right, say it aloud. What time is it?. Time of our lives. Anticipation. What time is it?
Summertime. School's out, scream and shout"
BIG RED
"Finally, summer's here, Good to be chillin' out, I'm off the clock, The pressure's off, Now my girl's what it's all about" (Singing to Ashlyn)
GINA
"Ready for some sunshine, For my heart to take a chance, I'm here to stay, Not movin' away, Ready for a summer romance" (looks over at EJ)
ASHLYN & EJ
(They both take the hands of their so's) "Everybody ready, goin' crazy, yeah, we're out
Come on and let me hear you say it now, right now"
(chorus again, sung by everyone)
KOURTNEY
"Goodbye to rules, no summer school, I'm free to shop 'til I drop" (turns to Nini)
NINI
(faces Kourtney and grabs her hands) "It's an education vacation, And the party never has to stop" (let's go of one hand, and then they both sing)
KOURTNEY & NINI
(the run-up the aisle) "We've got things to do, we'll see you soon, And we're really gonna miss you all, Goodbye to you and you, And you and you, Bye-bye, until next fall" (they brush their hands on each of their friend's hands past the aisle as they sing)
(chorus again, with everyone)
RICKY
"No more wakin' up at 6 a.m. 'Cause now our time is all our own, Enough already, we're waiting, Come on, let's go, Out of control" (goes back to the group)
CARLOS & SEB
"School pride, let's show it, We're champions and we know it, Wildcats are the best, Red, white and gold" (holding hands)
MISS JENN
"When it's time to win, we do it, We're number one, we proved it, Let's live it up, get the party down, That's what this summer's all about" (we get a close up of her looking at Mr. Mazzara)
EVERYONE
"Summertime is finally here (Let's celebrate)! Wanna hear you loud and clear now (School's out) We can sleep as late as we want to (It's our time) Now we can do whatever we wanna do, It's summertime (We're lovin' it) Come on and celebrate now (What time is it?) It's party time (Let's move around) The time of our lives" (everyone's dancing down the halls)
