Chapter: 6 The Star Knight and Swiftblade

        The next morning Jordan is getting dressed putting on his white shirt and white jacket with black trimming with black jeans, his family necklace and his katana while Seren is already dressed in blue jeans, her rings and a white sleeveless blouse. After Eating breakfast and packing Seren’s bag, Jordan leaves a note on the door for Eve and they head out the door to meet Alana and her friend. Jordan and Seren met up with Alana who is wearing a striped blue and white shirt with blue jeans while her friend a 5’3 chocolate skinned girl with medium length black hair and navy blue eyes is wearing a pink T-shirt with blue jeans is standing behind her holding a black blade with blue Ancient text that began appearing after the red star incident. They all greet each other and take the train to Pyroshire where they are the only one on the train. Alana then begins the introduction  “this is Mi Sy she has been a friend of mine since we were in middle school”, “Nice to meet you” says Mi with a smile “Hello again’ Jordan says waving his hand “Now like I said we will be entering a competition in Pyroshire” says Alana pulling out a paper stating there’s a competition in Pyroshire “the competition is for a group of three so your sister won't be able to participate” Mi continues “I got it I wasn’t planning on her competing anyway she’s just here to watch” Jordan says understanding. “you’re going to watch us okay Seren You can’t participate”, Jordan says gently after  Seren nods her head agreeing he opens his mouth to speak once again staring at Mi “So I have a question what type of Tiven are you Mi because looking at your blade I’ve never seen anything like it” Jordan asks curiously , “I’m a star Knight Tiven a group of Tivens that were taught to study the text that came about from the red star effect after a couple of years with the text people learned how to use them as weapons though there is still text we can’t read and we still can’t determine the origin the text allows me to change the property of the whatever its on depending on the text written on and every star knight has a total of three Star signs which is another name for the text” , “why only three”, “when it comes to the signs they consume a lot of energy to use maintaining the weapon in a regular state is already a workload adding any more than three could end your life star Tivens are even allowed to allow their weapon leave their side because once the weapon leaves their side it changes forms on its own nonstop which makes it hard to maintain” , Alana concludes, just then the train stops. “You’ll be seeing what I can do when the competition starts” Says Mi as they walk off the train, They head toward the center of Pyroshire where there are different groups waiting for the competition with a tall 6’0 man with a long black cloak long silver hair and a white mask with two triangles for eyes and a dragon design around it. “hello everyone!!” the man says beginning “I am your host Scales and I welcome you to Pyroshire are you ready for a competition Like no other” The crowd roars listening to the voice of the announcer scales “Well then let us begin we have some fierce competition today and for this competition we have the entire land of Pyroshire as our competition field so to start off we have a total of 17 teams here as I can see so well start with a race you all will be racing from here through Pyro forest where who knows what resides inside and using any means and by any means I mean ANY means your teams will race to the Pyro arena the first five teams to make it will move on to the finals and everyone here to watch will be taking the train right behind me good luck to you all now all teams will stand on the circle pads behind you and we shall begin”. “Okay Seren I’ll see you in a bit” Jordan says hugging Seren, Seren heads to the train with a couple of other people. Jordan looks behind him and sure enough just as Scales says there are a total of 24 circles in a line at the end of the street before entering the forest. Jordan, Alana and Mi stand on the large blue circle lining up with the other competitors once all seventeen teams are lined up large two story walls rise up between all the competitors blocking them from the others with a portal in front of them. at this point all the competitors can see is the portal and all they can hear is Scales voice which seems to be over a loudspeaker “Okay everyone the portals in front of you will move you to random parts of the forest but you all will be the same 69 miles away from the arena and you will see a blue flash every 4 hours to show you the direction the arena is  we will all being at the sound of the bell and you will all be watched by the Nano cameras all around the forest  good luck”. At the sound of the bell They took off into the portal, looking around they saw the blue flash radiate and began running in that direction but before they could go any farther than a meter a giant armored bear Mewail with orange eyes and a mace like tail with spikes stood in front of them as they heard explosions coming from all directions. The bear charged at them the three of them dispersed in all directions avoiding the bear. Alana stood face to face with the beast her sword drawn as the bear stood on two legs as Jordan was about to step forward now standing next to Mi behind Alana, Mi threw up her hand “don't she’ll only get mad she hates people trying to help her she wants to stand on her own” , “but why”  , “she's the daughter of the seven swords a special group of ETs that train with only the special blades they have she’s been sheltered since she was little before running away and meeting me in middle school her goal is to be strong enough for her own freedom” Mi says watching intensely. Just then the bear lunges forward swing its 50 pound tail in succession at Alana who blocks them all flawlessly as her hair glides past her she smacks it upward and swings the blade at the bear who blocks with its front paws and swings again with its tail Alana spins her sword off the bears claws and blocks the tail again causing her and the bear to pit their strength against one another until the bear jumps back cause Alana to lose her balance and fall forward. The bear swings its tail downward at her back but before he reaches her Alana pushes her left hand off the ground spinning her body left with the sword in hand slicing off the bears tail, the bear jumps back and lounges at her swing its claw in a massive fury she manages to block the ongoing attacks but gets pushed back as she blocks looking for an opening. Looking at every aspect of the bear’s body as she blocks her then sees that the back of the bear’s neck is unprotected. She spins around smacking the bears right of her spinning the bear around and slicing off its head at the end of her spin. Swings her sword outward knocking the blood off her sword, “Mi you have a hair tie” Alana asks walking toward Mi and Jordan. Mi pulls one out of her pocket and hands the hair tie to Alana, Alana ties up her hair

Sheaths her sword and sits down by a tree as explosions continue throughout the forest “Well I guess we see why only five teams can make it through” Jordan says looking around  making sure there aren't any other threats, “we have to think of how we are going to maneuver through without as manyobstacles” Mi says debating through thoughts of how herself “well we can’t do that staying here let’s get moving otherwise other teams will get there before us” Alana says with a stagger, Jordan catches her “you're still exhausted we can't keep going if your like this”, “I didn't come here to lose now plus I told you we won't join your team unless we win” Jordan signs with a Smile “then I guess I’m caring you then” , “no what Then you won't be able to fight and I’ll be a hindrance” , “No If I take the lead” Mi says drawing her blade.  “Fine” Alana says looking away blushing Jordan gets in position to give her a piggyback she gets on his back “this way you can tell what's going on behind us” Jordan says with a smile and just like that they head into the direction of the arena as shown by the blue light . After they run through the forest for 20 miles they find obstacles in front of them as expected different groups and teams in quarrels trying to prevent each other from going forward as they zoom through. “first Sign “Mi says and after saying that her blade turns red as the sign on her blade glows brightly red she swings it creating a large blast of red in front of her as the groups avoid the devastating blast of fire that cuts down most of the trees in their path Mi and Jordan follow behind it zooming past the other group who begin to bring up the rear it’s a total of 6 guys and 6 girls. “Mi let’s make this left and then continue straight on my count”, Mi nods “what are you planning” Alana asks, “I’m going to need you to hold on and trust me”, “you’re asking for a lot” Alana says joking and seriously, “Please” Jordan begs , “whatever” Alana sighs Jordan pulls out his katana “now” He says as he spins and his eyes glow so bright it almost turns pure white he shoots back a four meter in radius ball of wind at their pursuers and just as they planned they made the left and then a right continuing their push forward  after moving another 20 miles they reach a canyon with a large 3 mile long bridge where it looks as if no one has come by yet. “I can walk now Jordan you can let me down” Alana says. She Looks away as he sets her down and says “thanks for caring me” as she blushes. Mi looks at Alana with a smile before speaking “so after crossing this bridge we shouldn't be much farther away” , “How are you so sure” Jordan asks curiously “The second sign on my blade is measurement I can tell the distance we’ve traveled based on it as well as the size and measurement of everything else depending on what, it helps with gauging skills and ability”, “so what was the first sign that red blast of fire”, “that’s Mi’s first sign of her blade, There are a total of Five Elemental star Knights they all use a specified element Mi’s is the crimson Flame, they aren't allowed to leave the temple since they are what is called the Tiven geniuses, Their skills are above average and the secrets of their signs are what many people aim for to get a sense of strength and power which is why star knights aren't allowed to leave ,and are all assigned a bodyguard”, “But MI you left your body guard and enrolled in the same middle school as Alana”, “that is correct as I told you earlier Jordan, Alana too ran away from the home of the seven swords aiming for enough strength to earn her own freedom, I am doing the same, we met one day in class when we were pit against each other in a mock Tiven battle. She was the only person I found that matched me in skill we ended up becoming friends as well as rivals aiming to be the strongest Tiven so that we no longer have to be oppressed and can do what it is that we wish” Mi concludes “Jordan we are telling you this so that you know who your recruiting on your team but relaying this information to anyone else would be a problem so I would like you to-”, “the secret will remain between us” Jordan says with a smile “now let’s cross this bridge shall we” Jordan says allowing Alana and Mi cross ahead as they cross a large blast of light shoots the bridge between Jordan and the girls. The girls manage to get to the other as Jordan jumps back before the bridge collapses underneath him however before he has time to get back to the other side he is tackled by a man in a black cloak from out of the sky, off the bridge, downward into the canyon.
