"fifty?! oh hell no"
I was ordering a uber for me and Mell so we could go to Jayla's house. We had one month left of summer break before we would go back to school so the gang decided we were gonna link more often starting with today.
As for Mell we've been spending a lot of time together, whether it was him bringing Kiana over for Malay, coming to chill with me, getting food or my ma inviting him over for dinner.
"Mell the cab gon be here in 5 min" I told him peeking in Alex room where they were playing 2k together
"Let us finish this round real quick"
"I'll be in the front of the building"
"aight"
10 minutes later
I stg imma kill this boy. Now if I leave him imma be wrong right.
Just as I was about to call his phone he ran out the building to the cab
"my fault the round lasted long-"
"i don't care"
"mmcht* man here we go"
At Jayla House
"bestfrienddd" Jayla said hugging me as she opened the door
"girl you saw me two days ago" I said laughing
"I don't care I'm always excited to see you"
"hey ya'll" I said giving hugs while Mell followed behind dapping everybody up
I went to give Kory a hug and when I did he didn't hug back
weird
I sat in between him and Jayla when I did he scooted over. I shrugged it off because maybe he was tryna give me more space.
"Y'all we should go to that party tonight" Bre said
"the one dre hosting ?" Mell asked
"yea"
"I'm down" "me too"
Everybody was in their own conversations so I decided to start one up instead of being on my phone.
