11-Doctor

"Hi Rubi, how's your sleep?" I pick up Rubi from her crib and she yawns.

Rubi is so cute and adorable.

Today was her doctor appointment for needles and I kind of didn't want to see it.

Matt came with because he was the guardian.

"Appointment for Rubi." The nurse nods and told us to sit down.

Haven hits my arm softy and I look his way. "I put you in charge of the baby, just so you know."

I shrugged my shoulders, "what I don't understand is why your giving me the baby after you adopted it?"

"Did you not want Rubi?"

"Answer my question first."

"W-we, thought maybe another kid in the family would help you out. And look at you, in love with Rubi already like your own! Also, want to tell me why this masked girl visit you at your apartment the other day.

"How did you know?"

"Cameras, you weren't answering your phone."

"We had......"

"FUCKING SEX?!" Haven stand up and other mom looking at us weird.

"Sit your ass down." He obeyed and sat down.

He then hugged me, I pat his back awkwardly. "Your giving me a hug for sex? Man get the fuck away from me."

He laughs but leans back with tears in his eyes. "What the hell man?" I yelled at him.

"No, don't worry about me. Just some other stuff I've been thinking about."

"Rubi!" Someone shouted and we both stand up, Haven grab the baby little handle thing, car seat.

We walked inside a room and the lady smiled at us. "Parents?"

"My friend and the taker of the baby." Haven answer for me.

"No mom in the picture?" She ask as she was looking at me up and down.

"If your going to look at him that way, can we get a different doctor. At this point, he might actually become my partner."

I smirk and look at Haven, he winked and I shake my head. "N-no problem, my apologies."

Haven phone began to rang and he got up to go take the call outside the doctor room. I place the baby on the bed like she instruction, and I hold her as the doctor examine Rubi.

"She's looks good, let's do the shots. Do you know her blood type?"

"No i don't, actually I don't even know mine either."

"That's alright, if you want to find out I can take a sample of your blood then we can call you in a few days to let you know, same with Rubi."

I nod, not caring.

Rubi had her shots and she began to cry because how much it hurt. I hated to see her in pain, it made me in pain.

"I know, I know. Let's find uncle Haven." I hold Rubi in one hand and the other with the carried thingy to hold the baby.

I saw Haven auguring with on the phone, I raised a eyebrow and walked over to him. He notice i was looking and smile at me. He raised a finger, 'one second' he mouth.

"Sorry. Uh stupid people didn't want to get things right in the warehouse." He laughs awkwardly. "Let me get that for you." He grabs the car seat and walks pass me oddly.

"Let's go Rubi." I kissed her cheek, and she smiles, showing her tiny little teeth's.

I got ready for a party that Manny insisted I got to.

Luis was staying with Rubi and Tavio, and for once Jett is staying at Tony place after many days of convincing me, although Oliver is watching from far rage. Nima had night shift at her work. Matt and Haven had to come as well for back up like always.

We enter the ballroom, and everyone was wearing fancy dresses or suit. A girl came right up to me, "dance?"

I walked past her and walked to the bar, "bourbon on rocks." He nods and pass time the drink.

I felt someone bumped into me, "sorry." There head was down and they walked away. I shrugged my shoulder and began to drink my drink.

"Heyo!" Danny said to me with Cat in his arms.

"Hey Cat."

"Hey Frank." Danny huffs and looks at me sternly.

"No hey to me? I get it, I'm not wearing tits but she can?" Cat and I look at Danny weirdly at his comments.

"Cat you look nice in the dress you made and Danny go fucking meet a therapist." I told him as Danny pass a drink to Cat.

"Done, did that."

"When?" Cat ask just when I was going to.

"After my parents split, to be honest I kept going because she would feel bad for me and gave me candy."

"Something you would do." Danny snorts and nods.

"Let's go dance!" Cat suggest and Danny nods, they leave and I smile at the happy couple.

I reach for phone to maybe see messages from Jett but instead a paper fell out of my pocket. I picked it up off the floor and began to read it.

"Welp shit." I quickly look at my phone and see one message from Jett.

Jett: Just so you know, Tony has the goosebumps legos! Like how did he get it!?

I laughed, Jett been waiting for relaunch of this lego set he's been wanting but they sold out. I have connection but he begged me to do it fair and square.

Little did he know, I bought-

Shots was heard, and took my cue for the warning from Dark. I began to look for the red suit and immediately I found him. I called Manny but he didn't answer.

I quickly ran to Danny, "quick take her to the restroom. Now!" He nods and grabs Cat to run for her bathroom. I start shooting some of the man who shooting civilians.

I then point my gun at red and shot his leg. "Haven take him." He nods and grab him, I saw someone running from the back of the stage.

Quickly running and I brought up my gun to see a girl in a dress with a mask on.

"We really have to stop meeting up like this." I smirk and snort.

"Yes we do, why are you here?" I ask.

"Just going to pick up something from the guy in the red suit, also If it makes you feel better or not, beat his ass for me, he touch my ass without permission."

"I take it in consideration." She laughs

"Until next time." and runs off, knowing I wasn't going to shoot her.

"Until next time." I whisper.
