"Yeah I know we're rich but we're not like that, actually we're kind of are. Anyways, turns out the father did die, and the gold is in different country. At the end, that crazy rich family kills a lot of people expect the girl. She left with the guy, and supposedly didn't survive in the ocean but I know they survive looking for the gold."

Jett tells me about the outer banks, and now we are watching the second seasons.

"Interesting, let's watch it." Jett jumps excitedly and sits next to me. Rubi was sleeping In her crib in my room with a monitor I had place.

There's camera too but this was more precautions of course.

As we watch the show, it was very interesting. I look at the baby monitor and she was sleeping peacefully. I then notice a shadow moving closer to the crib.

"Jett call Oliver quick, then go to your room." I said as I get off the bed, looking at the monitor.

"What's going on?"

"Now! Jett move!" He hurried to his room and I follow behind going up to my room. Thankfully I always carry a gun.

My gun was raise as I enter the room, slowly passing the restroom and looking around the room for anyone. I look down at the crib and see Rubi still in the same position. "Hey..." I touch her cheek but she was sleeping.

Then I flip my head to the couch if something falling from my closet. Slowly walking towards my closet and opening the door, "shit." Someone whisper darkly.

"Alright listen, get the fuck to the light or I'm just going to start shooting."

"Relax, it's me." Dark had her hands up with the mask on like always.

"Okay, you passed several lines, why the fuck are you here around my daughter?"

"Daughter? Just give me a second." She looks up for a second then redeemed herself once again. "Sorry, I'm having a bad day."

My gun was still up but I knew and she knew I wasn't going to hurt her. I put the gun away and shove it in my pants. "Still doesn't make sense why your in my house? Jett is probably scared, aw shit. Give me a second."

I run out the closet and out the room, and towards Jett room. I saw him rocking in a corner, "sorry Jett, false alarm. Are you okay?"

He shakes his head and I kiss the top of his head, "is Oliver still coming?"

He nods, "alright then, ask him to go get ice cream for the both of us. Okay?" He nods but still didn't answer how I wanted to hear. "Words Jett so I know your alive."

Jett chuckles, "I'm okay, just startled. I think Oliver is here, he just texted me." He gives me his phone and see that he was outside waiting for someone to open the door.

"Alright, go ahead and go. Don't forget your jacket." He nods and gets off the floor. I then notice a blurry vision, my contacts.

I sigh and waited for Jett to exit with Oliver. Which he did and I made my way up to my room.

"It's okay, I'm here. I'm always here for you." I heard whisper and Rubi fussing which in matter of time she was going to cry for food.

I walked in and see Dark holding Rubi. I walked to my nightstand and grab my glasses. "You wear glasses?!" Dark ask.

"Yeah."

"How the fuck did I not know?"

"We literally just met two weeks ago."

"Right.....well in those two weeks you never wear glasses." I smiled at her and grab Rubi out of her hands. "Oh." She stayed silence for a second.

"I wear contacts, I had to wear them three months ago. My vision was getting blurry, I didn't notice."

"I-I have to go, sorry for intruding you guys." Her voice sounded broken and she started walking towards the window.

"Hey, what's wrong?"

"Nothing you can't fix unfortunately. It's best if you don't know, for the both of you." She walks to Rubi and slightly touch her cheek. "S-she's beautiful. I'm sorry."

"Wait-," I got up from the chair as she was about to leave out the balcony.

"No, i have to go."

"Until next time?" I ask her and she turns around.

"Goodbye." That broke my heart and she started to leave.

What did I do wrong? She's the only person I let myself to, and now she's leaving.

Rubi began to cry and I turn to her, "it's okay, let's get you food Rubi........." I began to look at her eyes and how special there were. "My daughter."

My eyes began to tear and I started to cry. "I miss her, I miss Gabby but I'm trying to be strong. I have to be strong, and I will love you alright, don't feel like you lost anyone because you didn't. You have me and Jett who love you so much, and of course your uncle and aunts."

Rubi cry's began to calm down, "I love you Rubi and nothing is going to Happen to you, nothing. Alright no more crying how about we go get something to eat my princess" I kiss her forehead and she yawns.

"My princess."
