From what Estelle was told, she had been out for two whole days. However, it never really felt that long. Estelle had suddenly woken up, finding herself in her new room. The room was big, mostly empty and undecorated. A few boxes in the left corner, filled with what she had taken with her to Jorvik from Norway. The plan was to go out buying furniture in the following days of their stay. However, that plan was delayed due to her being ill.Looking around in her room did Estelle let out a sigh, sitting up on her bed she looked over at the window, which stood open with an amazing view of the forest, mountains and river side on the far end of the fields. The smell of fresh air, nature and the fields filling her nostrils. It was calming and had a nice smell. She could even hear a few people outside the house.
Getting out of bed, she gets dressed, in her casual wear. A grey, oversized hoodie along with some brown riding pants, going with it some black boots.
'' Estelle, are you sure you feel well enough to head out today? We can do it tomorrow if you still feel unwell? ''
Christina stood by the doorway into her room, still having a worried expression on her face.
'' Mom, it's fine. I've been sleeping for two full days. I think I have been resting way too long. Besides, I want to get a horse and warm up before school starts. We won't have much time for that if we are going to look and buy furniture the next few days. So today is the best day to do so. ''
Estelle gave a warm and comforting smile to her mother, while speaking in a calm manner. Before heading downstairs and outside. Christina smiled, feeling more relaxed not wanting to stop Estelle. Estelle didn't really feel the need to look around inside the house, since she could do it later. She was more excited to see the outsides of the house and more of the island.
Opening the door, she was amazed with the view in front of her. It was green grass, a beautiful landscape with no visible ending, mountains and a forest reaching far beyond. There was so much, it honestly overwhelmed her a little. Right on the outside of their, light yellow house was a stable, with warm brown colours. Estelle was able to hear the girls laughing and talking, while tending to their horses. This was really nothing like Estelle had imagined. This was so beautiful and such an experience. How was a place like this even real, it almost felt like she was inside a fairytale, it almost seemed magical.
'' So what do you think? Beautiful huh? ''
Alf walked up, standing next to Estelle, having a proud smile. He was very happy with the choice of moving to Jorvik, not to mention finding such a nice house, placed in such a nice village. His attention moved down to his daughter, waiting for a reply. Alf is a good father, understanding, caring and overprotective. Tall, blonde hair, pale skin and blue eyes, the common scandinavian appearance. He had a welcoming and gentle look, warm tones to the clothings he wore. But made sure to look casual, almost professional. Considering he worked in the post house as one of the officers. However, he looked like a nice man to get along with.
'' This is, breathtaking dad. ''
Was all Estelle could say, as her brown eyes gazed upon the little village, filled with colorful houses.
'' Ah, well welcome to Silverglade. Your new home. The stable you see belongs to Steve. It's for everyone to use that either lives here in the village or come by. Hopefully the weather stays this nice and we get to see much. ''
Alf let off a small smile, before walking over to a parked grey, range rover, with a horse hanger attached, just outside their house.
'' I thought you said you didn't want to use cars? ''
