Today is Saturday I'm happy about that. I'm exhausted after the full moon last night. Saying it was a long one was a understatement.
First Kara has no control and wolfed out. Then while trying to find Kara she ran into a beta werewolf, who happens to be Peter's nephew. Then running into Peter himself. Then having to find Kara before she runs into hunters. But thankfully we all got home okay.
I had just woken up and adjusted to the sunlight when I heard my phone buzz.
Laur
L: Hey Cami!
C: Hey Laura
L: I was wondering if you wanna hang out or something
C: Sure what do you wanna do?
L: We can get something to eat or we can watch movies at one of our houses
C: You wanna go get coffee then watch movies?
L: Sure who's gonna drive?
C: I will text me your address I know we don't live that far away tho but I'll pick you up in 20?
L: See you then
I got up and got dressed into something comfy and did my hair. I walked downstairs to talk to my mom.
"Hey mom" I said as I walked into her office.
"Hey baby. What's up" she asks.
I walk over and hug her while saying "well I am going to hang out with a new friend today. We're either going to her house or coming back here I don't know yet."
She looks up at me "and who is this new friend may I ask" she questions me with a smile.
I give her a quick smile back. "Laura Hale."
She nods "okay have a good time. And be careful."
"I will I love you" I tell her walking out.
"I love you too" she says.
When I get in my car I decided to text Laura I'm on my way and she answers with an ok and to wait outside for her when I get there.
When I pull into the Hale house driveway I set there and wait for Laura. I'm on my phone till I hear the door open and she walks out.
When she opens the door of my car she smiles at me as she sits down and closes it again. "Hey. Sorry if it took awhile Peter wouldn't stop bugging me."
"It's fine you didn't take that long" I tel her with a smile "so where is the best place to get coffee because I have no ideal?"
"Chloe's cafe" she tells me with a grin.
I nod "I really need coffee cause I was up all night last night. I ran into your brother and uncle."
She smiles at me "my brother come home after he ran out of the house out of control told me some blonde girl helped him control his shift. Then I remembered you moved in a little way from our house so I figured it was you." She states "then Peter came back to see if he was back and said you ran into him and told him what you did" she send me a great full smile. "Thank you. Did you sister get home unharmed?"
I glance over at her and smile "it's no problem. It's just my instincts telling me to help the kid he looked a little younger than my sister and I knew I couldn't leave the poor kid on his own. And yeah she got home just fine" I tell her.
When we got to the cafe we ordered what we wanted and got back in the car.
"You have an amazing taste in coffee. We practically have the same order." I state with a smile.
She smiles back and nods "I thought I was the only one who liked my coffee like this. But I guess not."
I look over at her "so who's house are we gonna watch movies at" I ask her while taking a sip of my coffee.
She shrugs "it doesn't matter to me" she says.
"You pick I don't really care" I tell her.
She nods "we can go to my house. The only people there are Peter, Derek and my little sister Cora."
"Okay your house it is." I tell her and start driving. We make it to her house and we get out of my car but she stops walking and looks at me.
"My uncle Peter is here and he's gonna be annoying so just ignore him." She tells me and I nod.
We walk in and start walking upstairs towards her room when an all to familiar voice stops us. "Hello sweetheart."
Me and Laura turn around. I feel it's again the pull in my chest it's very wired. Laura speaks up. "Leave us alone Peter. This is girl time not girl plus Peter time."
Peter raises his hands up in defense. "Chill out Laur I only wanted to say hi." He says with a smirk on his face.
Laura rolls her eyes "yeah sure 'only wanted to say hi' my ass" she says.
I raise my eyebrows at her as she grabs my hand and pull me away from him.
"Sorry about him he can be wired like that sometimes" she tell me as we set on her bed getting ready to watch movies.
"It's fine." I tell her.
This night was the start of my friendship with Laura Hale. Any of the Hale family for that matter.

909 words!!!!! Okay sorry for posting late I was kinda stuck for an minute then I rewrote this chapter like twice. I hope you love this chapter as much as me it's just a starter for the friendship between Laura and Camille to come. Lots of love.
