THE CHOSEN LOVE

After school I decided to meet Ender at his locker to discuss plans for the assignment

"Hey" I said walking over to his locker

"Oh, hey Em" He said still looking at his locker

"What's up with the nickname?" I asked him

"Don't you like it?" He asked turning his attention to me

"I do......but......it is kind of weird" I said smiling

"Yeah I know" He said chuckling...... Awwn...... He is so cute

"Aren't you meant to be on your way home?" He asked looking concern

Has he forgotten that we have detention?

"Yeah....... But don't you think we should continue the assignment........ I mean it is due on Thursday and in case if you have forgotten we still have detention" I said and he just sighed

I think he has forgotten

Wait.........oh no he sighed........ Does he not want me in his house anymore? I mean........ Yeah, my mom and brother would both kill me but we can't stay apart........... I mean...... We were paired up for the whole semester........ He can't abandon me

"Hmm......... That's the problem...... I have something doing today.......... So,maybe tomorrow?" He asked as he placed some books in his bag........ But I think it was more of a sentence than a question

"Oh" was all I could say in this situation........ My actual mission of going to Ender's house today is to ask him questions about this Chosen one stuff

Let me take you guys on a quick journey........... I know you are probably wondering about this Chosen one thing that I have been talking about........ Well why don't I clear up your misunderstanding

You see....... Every hundred years, a new era of chosen ones are being found or should I say born ......... Each family should have at least two Chosen ones........... The Chosen ones in the family are like the strongest, fastest and quick thinking ones........ Each Chosen ones have special abilities....... Some can control lightening, some water, wind or can predict ones action before it is done....... More like a prognosticator

The battle of the Chosen ones is when at least one Chosen one in each family from the two different clans have battle for a key

The key provides the whole family of it's possessor with higher level of speed , strength, sense e.t.c

As long as a particular family holds the key each hundred years ...... The stronger the family becomes

This is why the Edwards are known as the most powerful family, because for five hundred years now, the key has been in their possession....... Meaning every hundred years the Chosen one in the family always wins ........... That is why this time every family are trying to get the key....... Especially the opposite clan.... But I dont think Ender will let that happen Because he has one of the rarest ability which is ........ He can predict ones action which can give him great advantage.......... And, I happen to have lightening power......hmm...... I can be very unpredictable

"So, tomorrow then?" I asked Ender

"Yeah sure, but the journey is going to be longer this time 'cos we are moving to my family house today" He Said placing his bag over his shoulder

"So who's going to drive us?" I asked raising my eyebrows while we walked outside the school

"I of course" He says shrugging

"So....... We are getting arrested tomorrow" i stated matter of fact which made him chuckle......... There's that beautiful smile again

"Nah, my dad got us covered .......... After school we would go to my house and then drive to the family house" He said

"What if we get caught by an officer?" I asked getting worried

"Don't forget I'm a wizard so i will probably hypnotise them" He said smirking

"Hmm........ No problem then, see you tomorrow" I said waving

"Yeah bye" He said also waving

JAMES P.O.V
Detention went by a little too fast....... Even though it was boring I kinda liked it...... Ender was excuse from detention because he had 'something important to do'......... I mean how is that even fair..... We are meant to serve this detention together

Right now, I and Emily are both on our way home

I just can't figure out why she has been avoiding me ever since Physics class, even though I am the cause of the detention she still got punished......... But, i am her brother, i can never be mad at her for being there for a friend even though i don't support the frienship

"Really? You're in town right now?" She asked the person she was on the phone with

"Sure, you're free to come anytime, my mom would be happy to see you again" She said

"OK bye" And just like that the call ended

"Who was it?" I asked her casually

"Oh, it was Peter" She replied smiling

"Hmm......." I replied nodding

Peter has been Emily friend since i can remember and most of all he is a wolf ........ And my beta......... They once dated and it was hard seeing someone I called my brother dating my sister

"You are not still mad at me are you?" She asked frowning

"Look Emily, i am your brother, i was never mad at you in the first place, i get it if he is your friend but you know mom wont accept the friendship" I replied holding her hands

"Yeah i know" She said looking sad

"Dad's traveling again" I decided to change the topic to something else

"I haven't even seen him all week" She replied looking at me...... I think it worked at least it will get her mind off her problems for the main time

"Yeah me neither" I said still holding her hands

On getting home, we met our dad sitting on the couch with our Uncle....... I thought he said was traveling

"Hi dad, hi Uncle Chris" I and Emily said in union

"Hi kids" My dad said while my uncle just waved....... Going to my room i heard my dad call for Emily......i decided to eavesdrop

"How are you doing kiddo?' My dad asked Emily

"Fine" She responded

"Your mom told me that Ender is coming to your school" My dad said and i looked at my mom who wasn't even looking at me........ I understand she is doing all this for her daughter's safety but telling my dad is another level entirely and i don't think we have gotten to that level yet

"Yeah, we were paired up for Chemistry assignment for the whole semester" She replied

"Oh" Was all he said

"Look hon, you know that he can be dangerous and most all he can hurt-" My Uncle said but was interrupted

"He can't hurt me" Emily yelled

"How do you know that?" My dad asked calmly

"I just know, OK? I just feel like he can't hurt me" She said almost at the point of crying but her eyes have begin to water already........ I didn't know this topic was too sensitive to her, but this only made my dad and Uncle to make eye contact........ How can she be so sure?

"You said you feel like he can't hurt you ?" My dad asked

"Yes" was all she said but i know we are all thinking the same thing....... If my suspicions are right that means Ender and Emily.......... Are mates
