Various citizens of the Crystal Empire stumble backwards as all of us rush out of the castle, rushing towards the snowy outside. Above us, Raven keeps watch from a bird's-eye-view. I'm jealous- he learned to fly pretty quickly. Nobody really needed to teach him; he taught himself. To be honest, I'm impressed.

(A/N: HOLY CRAP I JUST GOT MAJOR DEJA-VU. IDEK WHY.)

Once we hit the border of the empire, we all fly up in the air and look back at the grand city. What we see is a major surprise.

Thunder cracks around us and lightning strikes the shield around the city. Black smoke swirls around the tip of the castle and billows up around... something.

"I'll go check it out." Skillets says. "It's mah home turf." He smirks then flies into the smoke. As soon as he disappears, the lightning stops and flickers in different spots; maybe where Skillets is? I dunno.

Suddenly, he comes tumbling out of the cloud, almost falling to the ground. Luckily he catches himself and flies back over. "Nevermind..." he whispers. "Not my home turf."

After a while, he says, "I think this one is for Ashey and Skelly."

Ashey and I share a glance. "Us?" We shout simultaneously. "Why?" She asks.

"You'll see." He says. I shrug and fly over with Ashey by my side. We both take a deep breath and fly in.

As soon as I'm in, a cold sensation hits me which takes my breath away. It's quickly replaced by a feeling like I'm absorbing some type of energy or something. I open my eyes and see white around me, as if I were in a bubble.

Wait... this isn't smoke. It's shadows. I think.

I look over and see Ashey with the same white bubble around her.

"WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?!" She exclaims, flailing around a bit.

"Dude calm down!" I laugh. "I have a feeling we gotta fly over there." I nod my head over towards a deep red crystal in the center.

"Oh... didn't notice that." She says. I grin and start flying over; when I look back, I see her following.

Once we hit the side of the crystal, a sharp crack pierces our ears and a white arch appears on the red surface. Slowly, it swings open to black oblivion.

Ashey and I share a wide-eyed glance.

"Well, can't go back." She says.

Then she jumps in.
