One day, all of us would be relaxing in the living room. Luke and me would be playing his video games, Tomo teaching Mayu some new stuff in her little coloring book, and Carrie trying out some new hairstyles. "Ah, that's right, mother. Have you heard about this fair that's coming soon?" Carrie asked as Tomo shook his head. "No, which fair?" He asked as she grinned showing her a poster of it. "Our State fair that's happening this month! I honestly wanna go" She said as Luke instantly turns his head. "Oh, me too!" He said as Mayu cheered. "Me three!" She would say as we all chuckle. "Well, since y'all wanna go that badly" I said before pausing the game. "We can" I said as they all begin to cheer. "Well, this is gonna cause a lot of money for you" Tomo said as I nodded. "Yeah, but it's worth it in the end" I said before looking at the three kids who are happily talking about how fun the fair gonna be.

The next day, all of us would begin to pack for the fair. "Y'all ready?" I would ask the three kids as they nodded. "Are you ready, Tomo?" I asked him as he nodded. "I'm ready if the kids ready" He said with a grin. With that, all of us begin to walk to the fair. While walking, the kids begin to talk about how exciting it's gonna be in the rides, the foods, and the fireworks at the end. "Sounds like another date?" Tomo whispers to me as my face instantly turns red. "Y-Yeah..." I would say before looking away.
Once we reach the fair, I would pay for the entrance and brands for the kids. "Alright! Carrie, time to try out the big kid rides!" Luke would say with his fist up as Carrie looks away a bit nervously. "Come on, you can't chicken out now!" Luke said as Carrie slowly nodded. "Wait, what about Mayu?" Carrie asked as Tomo smiled. "We got Mayu, we think y'all grown enough to go on y'all own" Tomo smiled as I nodded. Both of their eyes widen as they both nodded seriously. "Just make sure to be a lot careful, okay?" Tomo said as they both nodded before Luke grabs Carrie wrist. "Come on now, Carrie, we gotta try all of these rides!" He said before dragging her off. "Heh, that Luke" I said as Tomo chuckles picking Mayu up. "Alright, princess, where should we go first for you?" Tomo grinned as Mayu points to the train ride. "Train! Train!" She said with a giggle.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After a while of Mayu riding the train and the mercy go round, we decided to get ourselves something to eat. "I'm surprise the food free" I said as Tomo nodded grabbing three cotton candy for us. We all would sit down in a bench before beginning to eat. While eating, people would walk around and give us weird looks. Each time they do, I glare deeply at them causing them to avoid their eyes immdently. "Cowards..." I mumble as Tomo gently rubs my back. "...?" Mayu would look at us confused. "You okay?" She would ask us both as we both look at Mayu with a grin. "Yeah, don't worry about us, Mayu" Tomo would say before gently rubbing her hair.
After we finish, we would walk around the fair a bit more. That's when we notice both Carrie and Luke. "Hey!" Luke waved at us. "Huh? I wonder what Luke wants?" Tomo asked as we all walk to where they at. "Hey, you guys wanna join us at the yo-yo?" Luke asked before pointing at the ride. "Woah, you sure Mayu will be alright?" Tomo asked as Luke nodded. "Don't worry, they will let one of you carry her" He said as Mayu holds Tomo tightly. "I want mama to do it" She said as Tomo chuckles. "Alright, I will do it for you" He said as Mayu cheered. After this, we all got on the ride. "Ah...the wind does feel nice" I would say before leaning back against my seat. I look towards my left and see both Tomo and Mayu, Mayu pointing at some stuff as Tomo smiled. Towards my left, I could see both Carrie and Luke in separate seats but they still talking and laughing. "Ah" Luke would look at me and give me a funny face. "Ah, you little!" I said before giving him a funny face back. "Ah, papa making a funny face!" Mayu pointed as Tomo turns to see before bursting out laughing.

After a while, we notice that it's dark. "Ah, Carrie, didn't you say there's fireworks at night?" Tomo asked as Carrie nodded. "We saw the location earlier, follow us" Luke would say as we follow the two to the location. "Whoa, this place crowded" Luke said as Carrie frowned. "Umm..excuse us" Tomo would tap a couple. "Huh-oh, sorry!" They would say letting us through. "I forgot, there's still some people that accept us" I whisper to Tomo as he nodded. "It shouldn't be long now" Luke would say looking at his watch. After a few minutes, I could hear something coming up before a mix of fireworks begin to appear. "Woah!" Mayu shouted pointing at the fireworks. "It's red! It's red! Now yellow! Blue! Green!" Mayu would name the colors as we chuckle. "It's really beautiful" I said as Tomo nodded, staring at them in shock. Without even knowing, the two of us begin to hold hands in public. "..." We could sense people staring at us, some even whispering, but right now we don't care. Right now, we just wanna enjoy this moment together with the kids.
After the fireworks, we all begin to walk home. "Today was fun! I really hope this continues forever!" Mayu would say as Carrie nodded. "I'm thankful, Kevin" Tomo would whisper to me as I nodded looking at the three happy kids. "You think we good parents? That we at least ease their hearts slowly?" I asked as Tomo nodded. "I never seen them smile this much until now, so yes, we doing our part well" He said as I chuckle. "Then, I'm also thankful" I simply said with a safisty smile.
