Harry Styles
Every morning I wake up, I haven't been able to stop myself from kissing Clementine almost immediately.
This morning is different. The sun woke me up almost as soon as it shined through the massive windows. As beautiful as the view is of the light sparkling over the water, my eyes can't leave Clementine's features.
She's laying on her stomach, her face smooshed into the pillow with her hair sprawled all over the place. One of her arms is tucked down next to her side while the other is resting against my chest. Her leg tangled in with mine.
I've been up for almost thirty minutes just admiring her. I don't know what it was about this trip that made me realize how real this is. How real we are. Vacations are such a family thing, a serious thing. Living together is a serious thing, I get to live with her forever, for the rest of my time, I get to live with her. I get to vacation with her.
I think it's because we went on vacations as kids a lot, my parents would take us on little weekend getaways like this. That was partly why I wanted to plan this so quickly, it's what my parents did. We were lucky growing up, we had money, my parents had a job they were able to leave behind when they wanted to. I like that I have that option, it's a privilege I get to live so comfortably, it's an even bigger privilege I get to do it with her.
She's not much of a morning person, which I think is kind of cute. She always rubs her eyes for the first five minutes of being awake, as if it will help adjust better when really she's just making it harder on herself. Even with her not being a morning person, I can tell she's starting to wake up, which is very unusual for her, getting up before it's even eight. Her fingers have been moving against my skin randomly, her eyes twitching every so often, her face digging further into the pillow.
Her tan lines are very prominent now, her back a light pink regardless of how often I made her put on sunscreen. She complained a few times saying she wasn't going to tan with how much I was making her put on but evidently she was wrong. I can't wait to rub that in her face, I was right.
I'm starting to grow impatient, wanting her to wake up now. I think she will appreciate me giving her the extra thirty minutes of sleep though. I reach over grabbing my phone to look at the time, seven-thirty-two. Fuck. Maybe she won't be happy waking up yet.
"You're moving a lot," she whispers, catching me off guard as I quickly turn my head again, seeing her eyes still closed.
"Are you awake?" I ask, maybe I'm just hearing things. Maybe she actually makes me crazy.
"No, this is your imagination," she giggles, her eyes still remaining closed but she moves her head closer to my shoulder, pressing her lips into my skin.
"Wake up, please I've been such a good boy letting you sleep while I've been up," I whine. It might be selfish but I just want to enjoy the morning with her.
I love Iris so much, I love having her here and this is really a vacation for her, but I want to spend some time with Clementine right now, maybe a cup of coffee on the back patio, we could go sit on the beach together and watch the sun continue to rise over the lake.
"You've been a good boy?" She smirks, finally opening one of her eyes, pressing her lips further up my shoulder, lifting her head slightly to move her lips to my neck.
"A very, very good boy, just for you, baby," I tell her. She might have a different idea of how she wants the morning to go than I had originally planned based on her neck kisses and I much prefer her idea.
"I can barely see anything right now," she laughs, rubbing her eyes as she tries to open them.
"Maybe I can help wake you up," I grin, pressing my lips into her forehead as I slowly move my fingers down her body.
