{Sung-Pyo^}{Sung-Pyo POV}

"The event is tomorrow so it's better if we can get everything done by, I'd say 3:00." The time is now winding down. There are couple things that need to be wrapped up for the dinner, but pretty much everything is ready. Some workers are downstairs setting up the ball room. Everything from the position of the lighting down to the centerpieces on the tables have to be perfect. Surprisedly my mother hasn't intervened or added her two senses in anything that I've done so far. She was serious when she said she was leaving the dinner up to me. At some points while I was planning this, I wished she'd just barge in and take over, but in the end I'm glad I could make this event how I want on my own. One of the last things I had to do were arrange the seating, this should've been done days ago but I kept stressing over the relationships of each guest attending. I didn't want to have anyone seated next to someone they didn't like just to avoid any disruptions at the dinner, but I soon came to the conclusion pretty much everyone hates everyone. They only put on a good face for business' sake so at this point it didn't matter as long as families were seated with or near each other It'd be fine.

"What about this family here. I've never seen this name before, where should they sit?" My assistant spoke while moving her finger towards a new name on the list. I looked up from the paper of the floor plans to see exactly what she was talking about. Ontario. I felt a smile creep on my lips but quickly shook It off before she noticed. I coughed dryly before setting the paper I was holding down glancing at the list of guests.

"Ah they can sit at table 4." I deadpanned before turning back to the floor plans. "These damn stairs to the stage would be bocking table 6 but then again no one at that table are assets to our company but the company had good potential, so I'll keep them around. Depending on if they complained or not, I'll move them, until then I shouldn't stress about it." I thought to myself. My assistant was being awfully quiet. Her awkwardness was too apparent for me to ignore. "A penny for your thoughts Mrs. Kim?" I spoke maybe too abruptly because she jumped at the tone of my voice.

"I-I was just thinking that they could sit next to the Choi family who's seated at table six. It says here the Ontario family doesn't hold any shares. Table four is also behind your mom and chairman Soo." She frantically spoke trying hard to hold formality and not to step out of line. She did anyway though.

"Do you think I don't know where my mother, the chairmen, and chairwomen sit Mrs. Kim?"

"No, that w-wasn't what I meant—"

"Then what did you mean?" My voice raised the slightest. Although she holds a high position amongst the employees that doesn't give her the privilege to question or doubt my decisions. Her stuttering and the droplets of sweat daring to form on her forehead were quite amusing but at the same time annoying.

"I was just thinking that since they don't hold any shares that they should sit with the families who also do not hold any shares instead of behind the higher ups in the company." She finished. I could see how hard she gulped after her sentence was done. I tend to make her nervous, I don't mean to though, well sometimes I do. I might be overexaggerating or whatever, but I hope this teaches her a valuable lesson.

"Good thing I don't pay you to think now, isn't it? Sit them where I requested, and I really don't want to ever hear you attempt to correct my decisions again unless I ask. Understood?" I intertwined my fingers and rested my chin on top of them while I glared at her.

I'm always right.

"Neh, Sounsangnem." She bowed shakily.

"Now since that's resolved, I must get ready to go, I have something very important to attend. While I'm out, please finalize all the seating, print out the guest list with the seats next to them for security, and lastly make the name tags. Please double check them for correct spelling I don't want a repeat of last year." I ordered while getting up from my seat putting together some documents while sliding them into my backpack. Walking over to the door with my bag in my hand I heard her hum singling she understood the instructions. I put my hoodie on over my plain tee along with my suit jacket and slung my backpack over my shoulder. "I'll be going now; I'll be back around I'll say 8 or 9." She stood up quickly and bowed, I bowed back and exited my office.
