{Haylani^}

   "Haylani wake up, you'll be late and I'm not driving you to school. I'll pawn MIMI if I don't see you downstairs in 20 minutes" My mom yelled from the crack she made at my door. I tossed and turned signaling to her I was now awake and also very aggravated. It didn't take me that long to get dressed I don't really drive the hot pink motorbike anymore so her being my personal alarm clock was not needed. Speaking of my bike I felt bad at first for not riding it considering my dad bought it with good intentions, but Ki has a car, so I usually just ride with her and Ash. I groaned when my mom entered my room again aggressively snatching my curtains open allowing the harsh bright natural sunlight to stab me in my eyeballs.

   "I don't want to have to come up here again" she scolded with a death glare as she stomped out of my room. I had no choice now but to get up and start getting ready. I yanked the covers off of my body and propped my body up on my elbows. I tapped through my bed looking for my phone to estimate how much time I had to get ready. I was met with metal and winced at the sudden warmness that I grazed under the cover. I was beyond confused why a mini heater was sitting in my bed until I pulled the covers back some more and saw it was just my phone. I gained the courage to pick up my phone and inspect why it was so hot. It looked to be in the normal decent condition as how I left it last night. I tapped on the screen and saw a little green oval around the time stamp. I mentally slapped myself and gasped softly as I realized I was on the phone with someone.

   But who? If it was Ash, she would have probably hung up. If it was Ki, she would be snoring loudly. I didn't hear snoring nor was the phone hung up so who could it be? I quickly unlocked my phone and tapped on the green oval to see the contact. I gasped again but only this time loudly... maybe too loud. It was Sung-Pyo. I don't remember calling him and I don't remember if he called me. It was sort of random. I wasn't mad at him or anything so it's not that it bothered me, but it was just shocking. I fell asleep on the phone with a boy, but not just any boy, it was Sung-Pyo. I couldn't actually recall how or when we got on the phone but from the time stamp it read 9:23:09. 9 hours.

   If he was on the phone the whole time that meant he heard my obnoxious mother come in my room and nag about me sleeping. The line was dead silent, I figured he had himself on mute or was possibly still sleeping. I left my phone on the bed and headed into the bathroom to start off my everyday morning routine. I didn't hang up because since I can't remember who called who first or why I thought It'd be rude to just hang up, so I left him.

                                               ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
   Like I predicted it didn't take me long to get ready. I threw my phone and some other essential belongings in my backpack and skipped down the stairs meeting my mom and dad in the kitchen. My mom was piling fruit of all kinds onto one of her fancy plates while my dad watched in awe. I chuckled at their cuteness. The awkwardness between them was settled from the conversation they had a couple nights ago I assumed because they were back to their normal loving selves. I told my mom I was skipping breakfast today and heading straight to school. Ash sent me a text message that her and Ki were waiting outside whenever I'm ready. I waved and said goodbye to my parents as I walked towards the door to slip on my shoes. I made too sure to lock the door behind me as I headed towards Ki's car.
"God, do I wish the weekend could last longer" Ki sighed while starting the car preparing to drive off. Ash just looked at her and rolled her eyes which caused me to giggle slightly.
   "All you did was sleep anyway" Ash scolded. Which was different but still hilarious, Ash was normally the one being scolded for sleeping or just doing silly childish things. A smile that formed on my face stayed glued there the whole ride to the school. It wasn't a long one, but singing and periodic side conversation roamed the car until we pulled up to the shop across the street from the school. Students weren't really allowed to drive their own cars to school unless you were like Sung-Pyo, so we had to park across the street and hide Ki's car in the back, so the teacher didn't suspect anything. The rules on cars with people like Sung-Pyo didn't necessarily apply . Even then he still never drives to school anyway. The teachers didn't care if he did drive or not, but you could see he would occasionally ask his driver could he drive home or take the car to another location alone; he'd call his driver which I learned was Andy another company car. He was even kind enough to wait till the substitute car got there for his driver before he left for whatever he had to do. I thought it was sweet.
