Denki looked into the mirror. He stared solemnly at his reflection. He wished he didn't need the binder, it helped, but he wished he didn't need it.
He took in a deep breath and finished getting ready for the day. He had just finished putting his uniform on when he heard a timid knock on the door.
"Yeah?" he called out to who he hoped would be his mother.
The door slowly opened, and his mother's head poked through the gap. "I've made your lunch Daiki." She paused as she took in his appearance. "You weren't joking when you said that you were gonna be a boy, huh?" it wasn't really a question, but she posed it as one. When Denki nodded she let out a sad sigh. "You best leave before he wakes up." She left the room and closed the door with another sigh.
Denki grabbed his bag from his desk chair and left his room. He walked through the house without saying goodbye to his mother, or even really acknowledging her presence. She let out a sad "Have a good day, Daiki." As he closed the door on her face.
Denki was always passive aggressive, his mother knew this, so she knew that he was pissed off, although in her mind she thought I don't know what to do with her.
****************
He stood outside of the gates of U.A High, honestly he has no idea how he got in, the one good thing going on in his life.
He took in a deep breath and stepped across the threshold of the gate. He made his way to his classroom. He stood in front of the door; his hand hovered above the handle. In and out, just like we practiced, in and out. One big breath. Plaster and fake smile and open the door. He pushed open the door and walked, more like bounced, over to his seat.
As soon as he sat down a girl with pink skin and pink curly hair with cute yellow horns, bounced over to his desk. "Hi, I'm Ashido Mina, but you can call me Mina." She stuck out her hand for Denki to shake. "Kaminari Denki. Please call me Kaminari." He took her hand and kept the smile glued to his face. She was really cute, and honestly if he didn't bat for the other team, he would definitely go for her.
A boy with spikey red hair and really pointy teeth walked over, "that was a super manly into dude-" Denki blushed "-my name's Kirishima Ejiro, but you two can call me Kiri, man." He ruffled Denki's hair. Now this was a hunk of muscle that he could get under.
Kiri and Mina exchanged pleasantries for a couple of minutes then a loud explosion was heard followed by a yell of; "Out of the damn way extras." The door opened a few seconds later and the person that stepped through could only be described as an angry Pomeranian puppy.
"He seems nice. I'm gonna go talk to him." Kiri began walking over to the angry Pomeranian. Denki and Mina watched him walk over.
"That kid has a death wish." Mina muttered as she watched the exchange.
Denki couldn't hear the conversation, but it seemed to be going well until Kiri asked something and the angry Pomeranian yelled "I don't have to tell you my name, shitty hair." And he walked away to sit at a desk.
A small green haired boy walked into the room and said a timid "Hey Kacchan." Before scooting around him and sitting in the chair behind him. "Don't sit behind me damn Deku." He replied swiftly with "If you don't want people to sit behind you then sit at the back." Mina snorted loudly from behind Denki while he and Kiri held back laughter.
Nothing very interesting happened as the rest of the class got settled down and a yellow sleeping bag crawled into the classroom, the class quickly fell quiet and looked at the weird event occurring in front of them.
The sleeping bag got up off the floor and a man with massive bags under his eyes got out of it. "It took you all eight seconds to be quiet. I have half the mind to expel you all now." He said in a ridiculously monotone voice. "My name is Aizawa Shouta, I am your teacher." He looked over the class and sighed. "Time for attendance." He went down the list of names slowly he called out "Bakugou Katsuki?" and the angry Pomeranian lifted up his hand.
