The next day Denki woke up early, so that he had enough time to put foundation on his cheek, get ready for school and leave the house before either of his parents woke up.

He did manage to leave the get out of the house, but he woke up his dad when he dropped the foundation in the bathroom. His dad called out to him telling him to shut up and get out of the house.

The sun wasn't even fully over the horizon when he shut the door behind him. He walked to school as slowly as he could, that way he arrived at a more reasonable time. He only lived 15 minutes away from U.A so he still arrived at like half past six.

He sighed and walked into the school. There must be at least one teacher here. I'm pretty sure Nezu lives here. He thought to himself as he walked through the building. He got bored pretty quickly and started exploring until he ran into an adult. Ahhh, shit. He thought. Fucking Midnight. He tried to turn around and sneak away, but she heard his footsteps.

"What are you doing here so early young man?" She looked him up and down them licked her lips.

Kaminari began stuttering "I- Uhhh... I- shit um." Midnight started laughing.

"I should punish you for that foul language young man." She licked her teeth and giggled. "But I'll let you off the hook this time you pretty little thing." She giggled again and walked away "by the way," she called back to him "Aizawa's classroom is that way, I don't want to catch you where you're not supposed to be again." she giggled again and walked away.

Denki nodded and ran down the halls towards his classroom he opened the door quietly and slipped in closing it behind him. He looked around the room and walked towards his seat and checked the time as he sat down 7AM great. He put his head on the desk and tried to sleep, he didn't get much sleep that night.

He woke up again when he felt someone tap his head gently. "You right kid?" Denki looked up at he person groggily. He rubbed his eyes and cleared his throat. "Yeah, I'm good. Just needed a nap is all."

He heard another voice near the front of the classroom and saw Aizawa sitting at his desk looking over papers. "Let him sleep Mic, Nezu said he's been here since six." He directed his attention to Denki and said, "I hope you weren't sleeping in your binder?"

Denki looked down at his lap and rubbed that back of his neck guiltily. "Yeah I was. Sorry 'bout that."

Aizawa sighed and looked up from the paper properly. "there's no need to apologise Kiddo, just try not to do it again, you'll hurt yourself." Present Mic scoffed and muttered "Hypocrite." Aizawa sent him a glare. "Anyway-" he sighed. "why were you here so early?"

Denki just shrugged, not ready to tell his teachers that he didn't want to get kicked out of his house and onto the streets, with nowhere to go.

Aizawa sighed again and got back to work.

"He sighs a lot." Denki said as he tipped his head to the side. Present Mic burst out laughing.

"Shut it Hizashi. It's not my fault that you lot are infuriating." He didn't take his eyes off his work, opting to just keep working.

Hizashi and Denki mucked around in the classroom for the remaining time before class started. But when other students started entering the room Present Mic said "Whelp. Gotta dip. Stay cool lil dude." And he left the room. He tried to fist bump Bakugou on his way out, but he was ignored.

The moment Present Mic had left Denki, he was surrounded by his friends. Mina looked very exited about god knows what, Kiri looked on the verge of tears and Sero had an extremely proud look on his face.

"So manly." Kiri stated as he held a fist over his heart with one hand and wiped away actual tears with the over.

"Uhhh? What is?" Denki asked, absolutely befuddled.

"You're wearing make-up man. You trying to tell us that you're fruity?" Mina joked and nudged Denkis arm.

To be completely honest Denki had forgotten about the foundation. It had somehow slipped his mind. "Oh? OH." He realised suddenly "Shit yeah, I forgot about that." He turned and looked at Mina directly. "Is it all still intact?"

She looked at him questioningly, "From what I can tell yeah. Why?"

He flushed and looked away "Just checking."

They all sat down in their seats and waited for Aizawa to start the class. It was a normal day filled with Hero training and normal school classes and it went by in a blur. Soon enough he was standing in front of his parents' house, readying himself to open the door and walk in.

He took a deep breath and opened the door, without checking where his Dad was – he ran to his room and got changed into 'feminine' clothes.

"DAIKI? IS THAT YOU?" his mum called from the kitchen.

"YEAH." He called back "I'LL BE DOWN IN A MINUTE."

He heard muffled voices through the walls and tried to listen to what they were saying.

She's not – anymore is –.

I don't – really does seem to – a boy.

Well not on my watch!

He heard his Dad almost yell the last sentence and started to storm towards Denki's room.

"DAIKI!" he yelled as he barged into the room. Denki was still holding his binder and barely had time to hide it from his Dad. "Are you. Still pretending. To be a BOY?" he took deep heaving breaths in between almost every word but bellowed the last word.

Denki paled and crawled away from him, towards the opposite wall. "I- n-no why, w-hy would I do th-that." He stuttered and pressed himself against the wall and curled into a ball while still looking at his dad.

"Even after I warned you not to?" every syllable that the larger man spoke shook with rage as he took heavy steps towards the cowering child on the opposite side of the room. "I want you out of my house in five minutes. Don't come back until I say you can."

Denki nodded and his dad walked out of the room. It took him a lilt bit to get his bearings again and soon was standing up on shaky limbs. He rushed around his room collecting all the things he would need for school the next few days. He was never left on the street for more than a week.

He slung the bag over his shoulder and walked out of the house. He kept his eyes down as he walked slowly. His feet carried him to a familiar spot without him even realising, the bridge. He never jumped, only thought about it a couple of times. He would sit on the railing and watch the water rushing below him. Occasionally tears would slowly slide down his face, his nose would run and he would just sit there, looking out to the water and thinking about what it would feel like to just jump.

It wasn't an unpopular thought, there was a broken piece of rope that had once been a noose, hanging off the side of the railing. The police had removed it the moment someone noticed it.

This time he kept on walking, down the side path of the bridge and around the shop that was a few hundred meters away from the bridge, and past the group of houses that were about a kilo meter down the way from there.

He walked down an ally way and came out in a large clearing, a lot of people thought that it was a park before the row of houses was built. He kept on walking, coming to a rough dirt road that came out to a old, broken down cottage.

Smiled sadly when he noticed where his feet had carried him. He pushed open the door gently and walked to the bed that he made, in what he had assumed had been a bedroom at one point.

He had every intention to just flop on the bed and curl up into a ball. However, things don't always go the way you want. So, when he got there he noticed that it was already occupied by a very good looking boy with eye-bags and fuzzy lavender hair.

"Who are you?"
