Chapter Eleven

Hitoshi was terrified. Tears rolled down his cheeks as he tried to bring Denki back from the window. It shouldn't have been too big of a drop but in this case it was. It may have been a two-story house but there was a massive drop to get into the back yard. That made that drop closer to three stories high.

Depending on how far out he jumped, he would either land on the very solid concrete stairs or the equally solid concrete path. It was around a ten-meter drop (33 feet) depending on how he landed would determine how badly injured he would be—on his feet, he would at worst break his leg. On his back, he would break his back and at worst be paralysed, and if he dived it would be fatal.

Hitoshi checked the time, it was around midday, he had to wait three more hours before either of his parents got home hoping that one of them didn't have patrol, or extra things to grade, or—in Hizashi's case—a radio show to plan.

So, for the next three hours Hitoshi tried to convince the shaking boy to stop and think before going any further. He tried to coax him away from the edge slowly.

With his hands held up his hands to show that he posed no treat and tentatively stepped forward and reached a hand out, "Denki, can you please come down from there? I don't know what's going on in your head, but I need you to stop thinking about it and just focus on me and my voice. Can you do that for me Denki? Just focus on me, please?" he took another step forward and tried to reach for Denki's hand.

The smaller boy pulled his hand back and almost lost his balance on the sill. "Don't. Touch. Me." He growled through gritted teeth. "I'm disgusting. Don't touch me." Hitoshi had no idea what to do, he was freaking out and needed to call one of his dads, but his phone was in the kitchen and he couldn't leave Denki alone unless he wanted him to actually jump.

Just at that moment a large bolt of lightning jumped from Denki's body and hit Hitoshi in the chest making him fall flat on his ass and wince from the zap. Fucking quirks, he thought, he could have face palmed if he wasn't freaking out so much. "HEY DENKI!" he called while focusing his quirk on Denki, "THE FUCK DO YOU WANT NOW?" and he was under the influence of Hitoshi's quirk. "Come here." He opened his arms from his place on the floor and Denki stepped from the windowsill to walk robotically towards Hitoshi, only when he was tightly in Hitoshi's arms was he realised from the mental hold.

"What... the... fuck. Why Denki? I know I yelled and I'm sorry I did that, but what the ever-living fuck was that about. The second time in two goddamn days. You need to talk to us about this shit." He finished off his small rant with a deep breath in with his head buried in Denki's hair. "You don't have to answer. Let's go down to the kitchen and I'll finish making breakfast then we can watch a movie, or what ever you want to do." Denki was still silent. He was silent as Hitoshi cooked. He was silent as they ate, and he was silent while Hitoshi was putting on a movie. In fact, he didn't talk until they had sat through two movies and Hitoshi was choosing a third. He was silent u until the moment Mic walked through the door.

"You used your quirk on me." He sounded completely hollow and Hitoshi stared at him. Denki had refused to cuddle up to Hitoshi all day or show any form of physical affection. The sentence stopped Mic in his tracks as he listened into the convosation.

Hitoshi struggled to get words out to from sentences and an anger was beginning to rise in Hizashi, What is wrong with Hitoshi? he knows better then to use his quirk without permission, right? He knows that right? "Of course, I did you fucking imbicile-" watch your next words Hitoshi. Hizashi thought to himself. "-you were about to jump out of a fucking window. You think that I would actually let you kill yourself? I'm not that much of an ass hole." Hitoshi scoffed, "What do you think I am? I'm not a monster."
