Fang POV
I sat down on her couch waiting for Max to come back. My head dropped heavily in to my cold hands.
She'll understand, I thought to myself. She's went through it twice. I know she'll end up heart broken once more, but I couldn't stand all my regret and secrets.
"No one will know Maya had a baby before she died, Fang." a soft and understanding voice trailed along inside a little girl named Angel.
"Hey!" I said casually.
"Fang," she started and I felt her blond curls fly past me along with her snow white wings. "don't leave her, or us again. Ever."
She wrapped her palms around my hands. Angel sat beside me as I placed my head on her lap. She stroked my silky black hair with her small hands.
I noticed she gained 2 pounds. She smirked and jerked my hair reading my thoughts.
The pain feels good because I guess I deserved it.
She sent me a thought that said no one deserves that pain, Fang not even you.
I'm losing her, Angel.
