Chapter two

Harry's POV

It's been a few weeks since Cassie started dating Niall and in that amount of time it spread like wildfire across the campus. Everywhere I went people mumbled about their date or even about how he's just going to bang her and hurt her. It angers me that people just continue to think that rubbish. I am now even convince he's a good guy and that's weird.

I sighed and continued down the hall way until I saw Louis talking to Liam. "Hey guys, have you seen or heard from Cass? I haven't seen her in a while." "She's probably with Niall, there in the library." I nodded. "And Harry." Louis said. I turned around to hear him. "Don't do anything stupid."

Cassie's POV

"So, am I the only one in class who doesn't understands this?" Niall mumbled staring at his blank Microsoft document. I giggled. "Niall, you're supposed to write about your plans after school, what you want to do, or where you see yourself." "Oh. so I am guessing you got this down packed?" "Typed, reviewed, printed and turned in this morning.

"You're amazing." I rolled my eyes and urged him to focus. I look up and my eyes meet a familiar pair of green ones staring back at me. "I'll be right back." I mumbled and he just nodded.

I got up with my arms crossed against my chest and I could feel my face change expressions. "Harry.. I feel like a horrible person." "Why would you ever think that?"he snapped. "shh!" The librarian whispered yelled. "I missed our movie night two weeks in a row, I am a horrible best friend and I am so sorry." "You'll just have to make it up to me, alright?" He winked. God he was such a flirt although I admired his cockiness that went along with it just because we were really good friends.

"Fine, but I'll see you later. I am helping Niall with a final English paper." Harry grinned and walked out. I returned to my seat next to Niall and he didn't say anything. "Does Harry have feelings for you?" Niall asked calmly.

"No, why would you think that?" He shrugged. "I don't know, he's your best friend. You're amazing, he's not ugly and he's probably a lot better for you than me." "Niall are you jealous?" He shrugged again. I kissed his cheek and held his face towards mine. "Okay you're adorable when you're jealous but you shouldn't be, Harry is my best friend but if you try you could be his friend too."

"Okay." he agreed.

Friday 3:30pm ( This is university by the way)

I knocked on Harrys door which was literally across from mine. He opened and pulled me inside making me scream a little. "What the hell?" I gasped. "Sorry." he chuckled. "Where's the other guys?" I asked. "There coming, they had extra credit classes to do so they'll be here around 5."

"Alright, what should we do until then?" "Call Niall." I looked at him weird and he smiled and handed me my phone on the counter. "Are you sure?" "Yes, you two are dating he might as well be part of our circle of friends." I pulled him into a huge hug after that just letting him know how much it means to me.

Harry's POV

It felt so good to have her hug me, my arms wrapped tightly around her. My heart started beating really fast and that's when I knew my feelings wanted to come out and I couldn't let that happen so I reluctantly broke the hug. I looked at her and she looked at me and I instinctively started to lean in when she turned away to answer the door.

Damn it, I could of kissed you right here, right now and you would of known I am completely addicted to you. Thankfully it was just someone passing out papers for a new club opening up next weekend and we all the freshman of the university got a special invite. "Looks fun! We should go." she said. I looked over her shoulder and nodded my head.

I looked over at the clock and it said. 4:00pm. "Call Niall." I repeated. She gets out her cell and walks into the other room. I was always told not to get Addicted to anything, but I didn't know it would be something with a beating heart then again my best friend. I never was able to stop thinking about her since I met her, she moved her from the states next door to my house.

We went to high school together, and I fell in love with her and now here we are freshman in university and she still is obvious to my feelings. I could never come to hate her because even if I tried I knew where my heart was and it was with her but, like somethings she was my addiction but a good one, I guess.

"Niall, will be here soon. Should we order pizza or something?" I came out of thoughts of not knowing what she said so I just agreed.

"Cassie, I really need to tell you something." she turned to me as she was picking up the other phone while hers was charging. "Shoot." "I- I am really happy for you.." I lied. "For you and Niall" "Thanks Harry, that means a lot." I turn around so she wouldn't see through my lie. "pizza will be here in thirty."

"The boys will be here any second, go get dressed." I said. She nodded and went out.

"Harry!" Zayn yelled followed by Liam and Louis. "Hey." I mumbled. "Where's Cassie?"Louis asked. "She went to get changed and get her stuff." he nodded and sat on the couch. "Everything okay?" "No" I shook my head. "Tell us what's bothering you." "what is this." I chuckled.

"Harry, your our best friend, clearly something is up." "I love Cassie." "We all do mate." Zayn laughed. Liam glared at him and he stopped. "Oh. Harry I am sorry that -

"It's okay, and yeah I love her but she has no idea. I feel like an idiot because I told her I was happy for her and I am .. But I am not" I scratched my head. "I think you need to tell her, she may feel the same way." "No, she likes Niall. He seems to like her too. I can't talk about this." "Okay, um so what are we doing tonight?"

"Guys!" Cassie smiled as she walked and sat next to Louis which oddly made me jealous. Louis put his arm around her and tightly gave her a hug making her feel uncomfortable just the way her face looked.

"Louis! Get off of me." "Sorry babe." he chuckled. I sighed and walked into the kitchen trying to think about other things. Then Niall showed up which only made me feel worse. "Hi."

"Niall, come in." She motioned him over to sit with her. He kissed her cheek and I had to leave. "I'll be back." Zayn said.

Cassie's POV

"I'll be back." Zayn said. "Niall, come sit down. Its okay." "Sorry, I just feel like no one wants me here." "Guys!" "Oh sorry, I am louis and that's Liam." "yea, you tried out for the team. Congratulations by the way."

"Thank you." "Hey, where did Harry and Zayn go?" "I have no clueeee" Louis sighed. I knew he knows something is up but it's not important right now. a few minutes later there was a knock on the door. "I'll get it, I ordered some pizza." "YaY!" Liam and Louis yelled. "God, you two are like four, I swear."

"Thank you, here's your tip." he nods and walks away. "Ni, can you help me?" "Sure babe." he got up and took the pizzas from me while I handled the wings and drinks.

"Louis, can you go get Harry and Zayn tell them the food is here."

Harry's POV

"I thought I could handle him being here but, I can't." "Harry, do it for Cassie." "I want to, but when I look at her I get lost in my thoughts and it's really obvious that even Niall could see it." "Well you can't stay in here forever. Cassie is going to get worried and look for you" "Fine, I'll go out."

"Guys... foods here." louis said. "It'll be okay Harry."

I shrugged and follow them back out into living room to see Liam, Niall and Cassie talking on the couch.
