The Possible Peacekeeper

~Chapter 24:All according to plan~

Derek looked vast upon the tower. The autobots went up ahead to the tower as we waited for my plan to commence.

"Derek....are you sure you want to do this plan?" Mateo asks from beside me.

Derek sighs. He knows that this plan will probably backfire but, what else could he do?

"Yes....I'm sure" Derek exclaims to Mateo

"I'm sure everything will go alright!" Aubrey says, trying to be positive

Derek smirks "I hope so Aubrey" rubbing her head affectionately

He looks at his friends, knowing it was time. Derek decides to start

"Ok! Aubrey you go towards the hallways and make sure none of the autobots there get captured" Derek commands

"Got it" Aubrey answers, giving Derek a quick hug and making a stone pillar to launch herself to the tower.

"Mateo! Make sure nothing gets in the autobots way outside the tower" Derek commands

Mateo looks surprised "Are you sure? My only powers are infinite intelligence and hypnotic eyes." Mateo tries to get converse to Derek on why he shouldn't do that task

Derek looks at Mateo, putting his metallic hand on his shoulder "I believe in you, and I heard what you did with that predacon!"

Mateo looks unsure

"Look, I know you might think your powers might be kinda useless for this but, I know you can do it!" Derek exclaims

Mateo slowly smiles, finally getting to courage to do it

"Ok, I'll do it" Mateo says, looking up at Derek

"Good choice, hope to see you on the flip side Amigo" Derek smirks

Mateo laughs "Hope to see you too Amigo." Mateo then starts to run towards the conflict

Derek looks at Tanya "Tanya, I need you to help in possibly destroying those fusion cannons"

Tanya looks at him, nodding

"And if everything seems to go wrong, how about you spice things up" Derek said, hinting at what he means

Tanya goes wide-eyed, tapping vigorously

Derek looks sympathetic "Look Tanya, the past isn't here anymore, and you can use your abilities for good!"

Tanya looks down, tapping anxiously

Derek looks at her "What happened at the last battle was pure out of lost control, you can't help it"

Tanya looks conflicted

Derek goes over to her, hugging her "Whatever happens, it won't be you fault"

Tanya looks happy,hugging back "Thank you Derek"

Derek looks accomplished "Your welcome, now go save some lives!"

Tanya nods, using her ghoul strength to make her blast through the air.

Derek looks towards the highest part of the tower, wishing that everything would be easier than this.

"I hope my plan works, Rocket boots on!" Derek commanded, transforming his feet into his Rocket boots then blasting off.

"Let's do this"
