"I bet you're going to love Kade, he's a nice guy." a say to Blaine as we pull out of the driveway.

"Well, I hope so." Blaine says, putting only one hand on the steering wheel. We don't speak for the rest of the car ride, we just listen to the radio. We arrived in San Jose, the city I live in on the streets. Well, used to anyway. I told Blaine to go to San Carlos street which is where I would be moving into The Grad apartment, but obviously I couldn't anymore.

Blaine finds parking pretty easily, we get out and head to the front entrance where we see Kade waiting for me. I don't know how long he's been here.

Kade widens his eyes. "What are you wearing?" he laughs. "Shut up, it was the only way I could come and see you."

Kade glances to my right, where Blaine is standing behind me. "Whos this?" Kade asks, raising an eyebrow.

Blaine holds out his hand. "I'm Blaine, nice to meet you Kade." Kade dismisses Blain's hand. "You've never mentioned him before Mal?" Kade looks at me surprised. "Well... we met yesterday." I say, giving a weird shrug. "How did you two meet?" Kade says, looking at Blaine intently.

"We-" Blaine starts."In some stupid way, it isnt that big of a deal on how we met." I give an awkward laugh and a smile. I nudge Blaine in his side, he winces. "Yeaaah, exactly." He gives the same smile I gave.

Kade looks at us for a moment before speaking, pursing his lips."So, do you still need help moving in?"

"Well...I'm not moving anymore." Kade looks at me stunned, I know that this is a lot to take in for him. "Why?" he says in a short voice. "Because something came up, it's nothing to worry about though." Kade seems to be put off by Blaine, he's getting very uncomfortable by his presence.

"Okay then, if you say I shouldn't worry then I won't." There was a long pause, making things tense.

"I'm getting kinda hungry, do you guys want to go eat something?" Blaine breaks.

"Yeah why not, we can go to the pizza restaurant." I get put off by that place, not because I work there but because I'm so sick of pizza.

"Let's try something new, we eat that every single day." I groan.

"We can go to Adega if you want to." Me and Kade both look at him weird. "And that is?" Kade asks. "It's a Portuguess restaurant." He smiles. "Come on, I'll show you."

The ride was about 9 minutes, once we arrived I could tell right away it was a very very expensive restaurant.

"Oh my god Blaine, I'm so sorry but I really can't afford eating here." Kade says timidly. "Don't worry, it's on the family!" He exclaims. "On the family? What do you mean?" Kade interrogates him.

"This is my family's restaurant, so I'm paying for it!" He says in a proud manner.

"Oh well, thank you." Kade smiles. I say my thanks to Blaine as well before heading into the restaurant.

We walk inside and see a long line waiting to be seated, one of the waiters who takes your name for your party cocks his head back and walks toward us past all of the waiting people. He leans into Blains ear and whispers something unintelligible, he takes us to the back of the restaurant to a booth.

We all sit and get our orders by the same waiter and everything on this menu ranges from 32 dollars to 184 dollars.

He gets us all water before asking us what we want. I order a sparkling water, it was 14 fucking dollars. Blaine gets the Bloody Mary, 20 dollars. Kade gets a root beer, 12 dollars.

"So Blaine, tell me about yourself." Kade asks.

"There's nothing to say really, my life's boring." He gets a goofy smile.
