My eyes shoot up, I glance up at Mal. "Oh, you're still not awake."

"Well." I sit up properly in my chair.

"I want to apologize for involving you into this mess."

"I should've listened to the others and kept you safe at home."

I drop my head. "I'm so sorry about what happened, I'm so stubborn and I swear I'll listen more next time."

"Is she okay?" A girl and Blaine burst into the room, making me jump out of my skin. "Calm down, give her some time. She needs to heal and gain strength."

"What have you done to my baby?" The girl asks.

"Care to explain who the hell this is?" I hold out my hand, asking Blaine.

Blaine looks at the girl then back at me. "I had Mal's phone in my pocket and she called and started yelling at me, I don't know who she is either." He gives a shrug. What a fucking idiot.

"Im her best friend, now may I know what the fuck you two did to her."

"Not my fucking fault she wasnt careful-" Why did I say that. I guess Im just annoyed that Blaine answered the fucking phone when its not even his.

"She was shot last night, it was only a rubber bullet. She'll be fine, she just needs time to heal." She furrowed her eyebrows. "If you two end up killing Mal I swear you'll regret being born."

"You'll regret opening your mouth soon if you dont shut the fuck up." I say.

I really don't like this girl, I don't know what Mal's relationship is with her but she's really getting on my nerves. I notice she gets hurt by what I say, I know that she's obviously worried for her. But her knowing us is just going to jeopardize their relationship, sometimes I wish I wasn't in the mafia. Things would be easier.

I honestly think I'd be happier, I wouldn't have to feel so much pain. I have to be here though, even if I like it or not. We're the most powerful family and no one can even know about us, none of us can make any friends. Not even relationships unless it's inside of the mafia of different families. I hate this, I've always had.

"I'm sorry." The girl says, putting her head down. "He has a very short fuse." I hear Blaine whisper to her.

I roll my eyes. "Yeah I noticed, I'll call Kade and tell him how crazy her new friends are." She says before leaving the room. A spark lights up inside of me, now more people are gonna know that shes in the fucking hospital.

"Kallias, calm down." Blaine walks over to me. "We don't need more people to know she's in here and that we're with her." I crack my knuckles to help me calm down.

"Come on, they deserve to know. They belong in her life too." He replies.

"Whatever, I'm heading home. I stayed with her all night last night."

"Okay, I'll stay with her until she wakes up."

"Helpless romantic." I get up and head for the door.

I felt so numb, I felt paralzed. My body was fixed to the bed I was laying on.

All I could do was hear people, I couldn't reply to anyone.

It was eating away at me, I know that I'm unconscious but my mind was still awake. Every limb wouldn't move, no matter how hard I tried.

"Hi Mal, I'm back and I'm not going anywhere until you wake up." It's Blaine.

"I want to explain to you what happened last night, but I want to do that when you're up." I hear his voice crack.

"I want you to feel safe around us, I want you to be comfortable with us." I could tell he was crying, I hate to hear him hurt.
