jaden's pov
i walk into mads apartment to see nessa and mads sleeping on the couch. everyone would expect me to look at mads and be mesmerized by her. but instead of mads it was nessa. i couldn't take my eyes off of her. her beauty was crazy. i was starting to think this was more than a attraction.
my heart would beat rapidly whenever nessa was around. she would be on my mind all day and night, and there's something about nessa that makes me always want to be near her.
it stresses me out when she isn't around but once she is, all of the stress disappears within a second. no one else could comfort me the way she can.just finding out, i have feelings for nessa. it was never just an attraction. i was drawn to her in every type of way. already now i can tell my feelings for nessa is like no other, feeling this way towards someone is amazing but also dangerous. if they cause you a heartbreak your heart isn't the only thing that will break.
every part of you will feel like it's breaking, ready to disintegrate into thin air. but it's also dangerous in the sense of losing yourself in someone. i definitely have not lost myself in nessa, we aren't anything. but it could come to that point if we do become something.
but it won't ever happen, because nessa is josh's ex and mads is my ex. it could never end with nessa and i. simply not possible.
"jaden?" the dirty blonde girl wakes up, rubbing her eye lids to get a better vision of me. "what are you doing here?" she ask, her eyes flicker between nessa, the girl laying right next to her—still alseep, and me. i open my mouth, but it takes a while before i say anything.
mads and i just freshly broke up, it will take a while to get used to talking to her again. "i am uh- here to drop the clothes you left at my house off." i say, showing her the bag of clothes.
"oh." she breathed out, then forced a smile. mads walks up to me to take the bag out of my hand, she was supposed to step away from me, walking back into her room to put down the bag but she didn't. mads stood in front of me.
tears began forming in her eyes, i then remembered when i left her crying right after i broke up with her. i opened my arms up, almost immediately mads ran into them wrapping her arms around me. i did the same, holding her close to me.
mads began sobbing, telling me all sorts of things—saying how come she missed me, apologizing if she did anything wrong. she really need this hug, it was clear that i should've gave her complete closer instead of leaving right away. "i'm sorry." i say.
she opened her eyes, tilting her head back to look up at me. her eyes directly on mine. i know she was looking for consent to kiss me through my eyes. but my eyes didn't show anything.
my eyes wandered behind her when nessa woke up, nessa froze when she saw me and mads hugging. i quickly pull away, i didn't want her to think i was getting back with her.
"good morning nessa." i smile at the girl, she didn't smile back which made me confuse."sorry for interrupting." nessa looked down, she quickly grab her sweater to wear it. she fixed her hair and grabbed her keys.
"no you weren't i was just leaving." i say, "it was nice seeing you, mads." i quickly tell mads and left her apartment. nessa followed behind me, tapping on to my shoulder.
"so you guys are—" i cut her off, i already knew she was going to ask that question. i didn't answer right away because i was busy admiring her beauty, she snapped her fingers in front of my face pulling me back into reality.
"no." is all i say, answering her question. i notice nessa breathed out in relief. i smirk, she likes me? "why do you care?" i ask raising my eye brow
"why would i want one of my best friends in a toxic relationship." she mused, that makes sense. of course she wouldn't like me, she's very loyal to mads. a little to much if you ask me. "i see you later." nessa pats my shoulder and stepped into her car, driving off.
lord, i swear she could be a drug.
