Pack Attack!

Yunlan leaned against the tree as he watched everyone bidding farewell to each other before leaving to their respective Kingdom. Shen Wei stood behind his father, sneaking glimpses at Yunlan, who is still ignoring him. While Yezun and Guo, both sadly saying their goodbyes to Da Qing and Chu.

"Didi! Guo! We should head out now!" Shen Wei patted on both their shoulders. "I wish you all a safe journey to the Dark Mountain." Shen Wei bowed politely to Chu and Da Qing and dragged Yezun and Guo away.

"Let's go!" Yunlan shouts to his two friends as he hopped on his horse and galloped away. Chu and Da Qing quickly followed after.

"Gege! I need to use the washroom before we leave!" Yezun then pulled the surprised Guo with him. "Hurry up!" Shen Wei then walked towards his father.

After a while of waiting for Yezun and Guo, King Shen was getting impatient. "Where are those two boys?" He huffed. Suddenly Shen Wei bolts up from the rock he was sitting on. "YEZUN!" He furrowed his brows and summoned his element to link with Yezun. But the cunning Yezun had already blocked all senses from Shen Wei.

"Father, please head out first! I will bring both of them back!" Shen Wei immediately summoned Wang. " Hey wait for me!" A man came running towards Shen Wei. "Who are you?" Shen Wei asked the stranger he'd never seen. "I'm Ling Jing! The inventor of the North! I need to give something to Prince Yunlan that may help him on this journey!" Ling Jing replied while catching his breath. Upon hearing that, Shen Wei immediately agreed to let Ling Jing go with him.

"We are so in big trouble!" Guo hung onto Yezun's shoulders as they stood on Yezun's Wind sword to fly. "Stop being such a chicken! Don't you want to see your Prince Chu again?" Yezun arched his brow. "Yes..but..how about Wei?" asked Guo. "Don't worry! Gege will follow us soon." Yezun smirked at his smartness and lifted off ground.

The three rode their horses for some time now as they reached an Inn in the middle of the forest. "We should stop and rest here for the night!" Chu suggested. "Wait!" Yunlan stopped Chu from entering as he signalled Da Qing to scan for any malicious energy in the Inn. "I see nothing!" Da Qing closed his magic cat eyes after he's done inspecting the surroundings.

They entered and were greeted by a servant boy and the owner. "Give us one room for the night and prepare us some food." Yunlan requested. "Sure, right this way!" As they followed the servant boy to the room.

A while later, Yezun and Guo also entered the same Inn. "Welcome!" The servant boy greeted. "Hey boy! Did three handsome men come in?" Yezun asked. The servant boy thought for a bit. "Yes! They're resting in the room. Do you want me to call them?" He was about to call out. "NO! Just give us a room and some food!" Yezun gave the servant boy some tips to shush him up and told him not to say a word.

In the middle of the night, strange howling sounds were heard outside the Inn. Da Qing peeked out the window and scanned the area. "Oh no! We're surrounded by the Werewolf Clan!" Da Qing informed. "Werewolf Clan? What are they doing here in the middle of the night?" Chu wondered. "Something is not right! The Werewolf Clan should sense that we are here and leave. And yet, they're surrounding the Inn as if they are preparing for an attack!" Yunlan suspected something. "Let's check out what they want. I don't want innocent lives to be harmed here!" Yunlan quickly jumped down the window.

"Who is the leader amongst you? I want to speak with him!" Yunlan demanded. A man with red eyes approached them. "I am Bo Bi! The leader of this pack." He introduced himself and moved in closer.

"Why are you surrounding this Inn. Don't you know it's forbidden to harm humans!" Yunlan stated. "We're not here for these measly humans! We are here for you!" He pointed at Chu. "Is this yours?" As he pulled out a string in front of Chu.

"Yes, this is mine!" Chu acknowledged. "So you admit that you killed one of our clan members. We found this on his dead body!" Bo Bi's eyes started to glow redder, ready to fight. "I've never killed any of your clan!" Chu angrily defended himself. "There must be a misunderstanding. We just arrived here!" Yunlan tried to settle the arguments. "DON'T DENY!" Bo Bi did not want to listen as he howls to command an attack.

The transformed werewolves started approaching them from every direction within the forest. Yunlan signalled his two friends to run further away from the Inn. "There's too many of them!" As Da Qing jumped to attack them with his iron claws while Chu whipped them with his string. "Hong! Help us!" Chu released Hong and she immediately sprayed venomous gas to temporarily blind their eyes.

Yunlan was left facing Bo Bi, who was not an ordinary werewolf. When he transformed into his werewolf state, his size is 10X bigger than the average. Yunlan jumped and leaped fast around the now big werewolf, throwing his ice daggers in all directions, but the big werewolf easily evades it. Yunlan then simultaneously threw daggers towards his heart. One dagger managed to pierce through, but to Yunlan's surprise, the big werewolf pulled it out easily from his heart and started laughing. "Do you think your puny ice dagger could easily kill me?" As he charged at Yunlan and tried to stomp him.

Back to Chu and Da Qing, who had to deal with an endless pack coming at them. Suddenly one werewolf caught Da Qing by his foot and was about to bite him when suddenly Yezun jumped in and sliced it with his Wind Sword.

"Yezun!" Da Qing ran to hug Yezun, who froze. At that time, the werewolves decided to jump in to attack Chu all at once. ~ZAP!~ Guo electrocuted them with his lightning rod from behind. "Chu! Are you alright?" Guo cried out with worries. "Yeah!" Chu smiled, assuring him that he's alright.

"We should help Yunlan!" Da Qing yelled as they head over to where Yunlan is fighting with a big werewolf. "What kind of werewolf is this? It's so huge!" Yezun was shocked as he has never seen a wolf this size. "This is normal since he's one of the leaders of the pack!" Da Qing informed, knowing a little bit about the Werewolf Clan from his tribes.

Chu quickly jumped in to help as he shot out multiple strings and twisted them around the big werewolf. Using his strength, he tried detaining its movement as Yunlan continued to throw daggers at it. "We need to find its weak spot!" Yunlan yelled out to them. At once, they all jumped in to attack.

Guo attacked from below, electrifying it with his lightning bolts.

Da Qing transformed into his cat form and swiftly moved around his body, attacking it with his iron claws.

Zhu Hong also helped her master by wrapping around the werewolf's leg to stop its movements.

Yezun jumped up onto the big werewolf's back, using his Wind Sword to slice through his neck and his spine. But even his sword could not cut through. "You got rough skin!" Yezun mocked.

The big werewolf became furious as he howled loudly causing the ground to tremble. His howling was so deafening that it could pierce through the eardrums and could cause internal damages if a person's cultivation is too low.

He took the opportunity when everyone was busy closing their ears and shook Yezun off his back. Yezun fell to the ground and was about to get stomped. Suddenly an arrow was shot out and struck through the big werewolf's right eye, blinding him instantly. The person quickly grabbed Yezun away. Yezun then turned to look at the person with a wide grin on his face.
