Chapter 8~ Twins

~Stephan's pov~

After my encounter with my brothers boy toy me and Kain leave to the human world to find a meal for us. Thankfully it was night time, the easiest time to find a meal with no worry about being seen.

I follow behind Kain, he's always been better at finding the prey so I let him do all the dirty work. Of course I can easily fend for myself but why do that when I have my twin brother for that? And even now my focus was off because of my thoughts being filled with anger towards our younger brother for finding his beloved.

"This means he will become king..." Kain whispers, I guess he was listening to my thoughts, again.

"Mm, it is a shame. I would have enjoyed ruling that kingdom, but I enjoy our freedom much more." We held no resentment towards Cinder, but it's hard to avoid any kind of rivalry between bothers. Especially vampires, we can be quite territorial when needed.

Kain and I somehow found ourselves in a mall, some shops being closed already since it was night. Just the theater and food court being open, not a lot of traffic but it was still lively with young youth being out with friends for a movie.

"Stephan, let's get something to drink." Kain suggested, it did feel a bit awkward just walking around and scoping out the humans. We wanted to fit in, not look creepy.

Straight away we approached the first food spot, I checked the menu out to make sure they had green tea. I then looked at the cashier and felt my heart stop- well it has been stopped for years but you get what I mean. This cashier was the most gorgeous guy I have ever seen. I couldn't stop staring at him! My mind just got clouded with many....dirty thoughts.

"May I have your order." The cashier said annoyed, I guess I was staring too much and was lost in my own world.

I cleared my throat and ordered the green tea, watching the cashier write down my order and I looked at Kain so he could order, but Kain seemed to be in the same trance I was in when I saw this cashier. I snapped my fingers in front of his face and he blinked, shaking his head slightly.

"Pardon my rudeness, I will have the same as my brother." Kain said with a very charming smile. That's my smile! I'm the one who gives the flirty smiles!

Luis places our orders and ask us for our names and I, of course, go first. "My name is Stephan." I give my most charming smile and even add a wink.

My charming smile never fails, successfully getting a blush from the guy.

"My name is Kain." I watched Kain carefully and when the cashier looked up, Kain leaned forward slightly and ran a finger straight across the name tag of the cashier. "Nice name, Luis."

I clenched my fist as Luis had blushed a deeper shade of pink, I shot a glare at Kain as he backed away. 'Brother, don't be jealous, he's both ours to share.'

Kain was right, Luis is our beloved and he will love us both. I sighed softly and nodded, we both stepped to the side so the other humans who were waiting in line could order.
