Chapter 4~ Meeting him (part 1)

~Zack's pov~

I tried.

I tried running pass this stranger when he didn't give me a verbal answer, but before I even realized what happened the strange guy had somehow pinned me to the wall.

"W-what do you want?" I whisper and close my eyes, fear was definitely taking over my body. I'm not sure what this guy wants but my best guess is that he's a mugger, and most of the time being mugged leads to the victim being stabbed when they struggle.

I suddenly feel his hot breath on my neck, his body pushed against mine. My hands pinned to the wall above my head.

"I want you...." he whispers huskily, I whimper pathetically. Hoping that he's just a mugger and doesn't turn out to be something way worse.

"I'll come back for you, my love.....and remember my name, Cinder." Then silence, a gush of wind moving pass me and the restroom door slams shut.

I slowly open my eyes and look around, not seeing him. I take a moment to collect myself now that the stranger is gone, my guess about it being a mugger was wrong. That guy was definitely some pervert, I'll make a report about this to the mall security.

After fully calming myself down I quickly walk out of there only to end up crashing into someone, stumbling a bit but regaining my balance so I didn't fall back.

"You alright Zack?" A familiar voice asks. I look up and see Luis, a concerned look on his face. I was thankful to see a familiar face right after experiencing something not so appealing.

"Uh yeah, I'm fine." I mumbled. Really considering if I should even share what I just experienced, but honestly I just wanted to forget all about it.

He smiled and pat me on the back, "You look exhausted, you shouldn't work too much."

"Uh yeah..." I say not really paying attention, trying to figure out if I had seen that person before but I've never seen anyone with..red eyes or such pale skin, don't even mention that hair, who even dyes their hair silver nowadays? Anyways, I was sure to remember their appearance for if I ever see them again.

"Why haven't you called or texted me?" Luis asks, breaking me out of my thoughts for the moment.

"Hm? Oh uh, well I had to go to bed early cause I needed to be at work early...." I smile innocently.

He chuckles and nods. "Okay okay, I understand. Want to get something to eat?"

"Sorry but I already ate." I shrug, just wanting to clock out of work and head back home.

"How about we go see a movie or something since we are at the mall?" He asks, a slight twinkle of hope in his eyes.

"A movie?" Tilting my head to the side, ready to say no but honestly I don't want to be alone just yet.

Luis' cheeks turn a soft pink color, and he starts to fiddle with his fingers, "Yeah, a movie. If you uhh don't mind?"

I chuckle and lightly punch his shoulder. "I don't mind you fool, what movie should we see?"

"Umm.....how about Fifty Shades of Grey?" He asked bluntly. I stop and stare at him.

"Really? I was thinking of something with action." I say and he pouts.

"Please, let's see it, I've been waiting for a long time for that movie." He gives me a cute puppy look and I sigh, giving in.

"Fine- wait, no. I'm still working!" My eyes widen at the sudden realization. After what happened in the restroom I had forgotten I was still working.

"We can always go after, when is your shift over?" Luis asked, and I could tell he was feeling disappointed that we wouldn't be watching a movie right at this moment.

I scratch the back of my head, "Uhh it's 1pm now..so in four more hours? I should be done for the day by then." Do I really want to stay at work after what happened in the restroom? I was planning on clocking out but..I'm sure those four hours will go by in a breeze.

"Perfect! I'll reserve us tickets for a bit near the time you get off your shift. While I wait, I'm going to try out those massage chairs." Luis said and before I can even answer he just rushes off.

With a soft sigh and smile, I head back to my job. Clocking back in from lunch. A soft hand rests on my arm, it causes me to tense up but as I turn to look at who it belongs to, I just relax. "Hey Sofia.."

Sofia gives me one of her genuine a sweet smiles, eyes bright with hope and excitement. "Hey Zack, I'm sorry if I ever came off as pushy. You should've just told me you were into dudes."

"Oh...so does that mean I'm not getting fired?" Right as I asked that, I received a smack to the arm(barely even felt it).

"Why would I even consider firing you? You are one silly man Zack. Now get out there and man the cash register." Sofia commands and with a soft chuckle I head out to the middle of the store. Counting the minutes till 5pm.
