A day later. City Core. Megalow Parts. Tristen and April started laughing about last nights. "Haha, I'd have given anything to see the look on that fat bastard's face. Good thing we had insurance, huh?" April asked. "Ain't that the truth? Hahaha." Tristen answered as she laughed. "Man it's crazy how awesome Ellie's gotten ever since the big D recruited her, isn't it?" April asked. "You're right she seems like a new woman. I mean the way she was handling the TT out there last night was genius. Pure and simple. Hell, you'd have given anything to see the look on her face. Believe me. Behind the wheel she was some kind of ice sculpture. Girl didn't even broken a sweat." Tristen explained. "Part of why she's good now is cause she knows how to keep it cool under pressure." April replied. "Between hearing about these other guys she's beating and seeing in action itself. I gotta tell you, I don't think we'll ever see anyone beat Ellie on Bayview's downhill." Tristen said. "Heh, I'd put money on that." April replied. Some time later. 5:30 p.m. Garage. Jill gives a knock on Ellie's door as she opens it. "Hey, do you have a minute?" Jill asked. "Yeah I do, what's going on?" Ellie answered as she closed the door after Jill came in. "It's regarding Letty. You know what's going on right?" Jill asked. "Yeah, I think I see what her true colors are now. Did you get rid of her?" Ellie asked. "Yeah, we took care of her. I don't think she'll be your concern anymore and you are free from her now." Jill answered. "It was for the best, we all knew how much of a jerk she is and now I realized it." Ellie replied. "We are going to attend her funeral. If you want to come along, I would suggest you dress into something formal." Jill suggested. "It's okay. I'm not going." Ellie answered. "Alright, that's fine by me... take care of yourself Ellie." Jill replied. "You too." Ellie said as Jill walked out of her room and closed the door. She laid down on the bed as she took a nap. A few weeks ago before the battle of Branden Lee and Caleb Reece. Garage. I knocked on the door to Ellie's room and then opened it to check in with her on how she's doing. "Hey, is everything okay with you?" I asked. "Actually I'm not feeling good." Ellie answered. "Is something bothering you?" I asked as I sat with Ellie. "Yeah, it's that thing about Letty that made us knew that she was a traitor in the beginning." Ellie answered. "Jill told me about it and I didn't expect this to happen. I guess Letty got what she deserved which was hell. What do you think will happen next in the future soon without her?" I asked. "I'm not sure. But I do know that Ayana will now be joining us in our battles from now on as a replacement apparently. I trust Ayana and it won't stop all of us from racing because our team doesn't give up as a we have a destiny to follow that will leads us to become professionals soon." Ellie answered. "Indeed, we won't give up until the end! Anyways, would you like to grab a bite to eat?" I asked. "Sure, where do you want to eat at?" Ellie answered as she asked. "We can go to a steakhouse in Beacon Hill. I'm pretty sure it's in the west area by the pier." I suggested. "Ah, I think I get what you're talking about. It's Texas Roadhouse. I've been there before. Okay, we'll take my car. But you're driving." Ellie replied. "Sweet! But why am I driving your car again?" I asked. "Since you took my car during your first time in Bayview. I want to see how you can drive my car with me taking shotgun." Ellie answered. "That's reason enough... ok, let's go." I replied. "Hang on, let me get changed. You should get changed as well. They want to go with something more formal." Ellie suggested as I walked out of her room and went to my room to get changed while she is getting changed in her room as well. A few minutes later. I got out of my room and was done changing into my formal outfit. I knocked on Ellie's door and went in to her room as I was amazed by her beautiful dress that she was wearing. It had flower patterns on it as she was also wearing earrings and heels. "Wow! You look stunning!" I said as I was surprised by Ellie's looks and admired them. "Oh, why thank you! I could say the same for you! You ready to go?" Ellie asked. "Yes I am. Let's go." I answered as Ellie and I walked out of the living room to the garage. She took the keys from the top of the dryer as she hands them to me and I took it as I unlocked the car. We got in and I took the driver's seat. I opened the garage door and we drove out of it as we were leaving the driveway. Once the road was clear, I accelerated hard and fast but I slowed down right after I launched off. 20 minutes later. Texas Roadhouse. "So have you been able to move on from Letty's death?" I asked. "You know, it seems like I am now because ever since Jill revealed to me about her true colors. I seem to not care about it. But I'm lucky I get to have Ayana as my new instructor since I trust her more than Letty." Ellie answered. "Well I'm glad you made the right choice. But I'll remain by your side no matter what decision you make, I will respect that." I replied. "I appreciate it, thank you... do you sense something Branden?" Ellie asked as she felt a familiar presence coming to her as it felt me as well. "Huh? Well yeah, I do. Why? What's going on?" I answered as I asked. "You know... I sense some good things that are going to happen to us in the future. It won't come right away but it's going to take time and all it's gonna require is patience." Ellie replied. "Which will be what?" I asked. "We're going to be professional racers and we're going to start a family!" Ellie answered. "A-A family..?" I wondered. "Hmm... maybe she's just excited or something." I wondered in my mind. "Is something bothering you?" Ellie asked. "No, no. It's not that. It's just that I'm going to be a father which is gonna be pretty much difficult and I don't know if I'm able to become a responsible parent." I answered. "You know being a father does require a lot of responsibility as well as being a mother. You shouldn't worry about it now, there's still time for you to continue racing and enjoying yourself on the fastlane while you're still at it. Now let's eat and enjoy this lovely dinner because the food's here!" Ellie suggested as the food came to our table. Once the food was served by the waitress, she left and we decided to pray to thank the lord for this amazing dinner and the path of this racing journey. Once we finished praying, we started to eat our dinner and enjoy our night together. I never felt anything this calm but I do sense a lot of good things for me that will happen in the future. After we finished our dinner, I drove the car back to the garage as we're going home. After we arrived at the garage, I parked the car inside and we walked back into the living room. Both of walked back into our own rooms and went to sleep. A couple of events have passed after a couple weeks. My first prom event after beating Caleb. Then saying goodbye to Bayview and later moving to Rockport City. What I would think to myself is that I'm hoping they'll return there to join in with me or I would be running into some familiar faces. End.
