In the bathroom, you put on the uniform, just to make sure it was in your size, and surprisingly it was. The cardigan was baggy but it was cute. You went out the bathroom with your uniform to show Kioko.as you stepped into the living room, she looked your way and gasped "ohh sweet tart, it's looks great on you!" she said putting her tea cup down " ohh you'll be so cute over at your school, you get all the ladies and boy's!" Kioko joked around then gasped, "oh right, I was going to give you something while you would be away" she said, then rushed to her room.
You sat down, and looked at your body, sure the clothes fit, but it was kind of baggy, were you just to skinny? "y/n here!" kioko said going in front of you, and putting a small box on your lap. You looked at Kioko in confusion, "just open it for me, it's a very special gift I wanted to give you once you got into college!" Kioko said excitedly while she went to her couch and sat down, bringing her tea cup with her.
You took off the lid of the box, to see three pieces of jewelry, a f/c ring, a f/c chain necklace and black cross dangling earrings (yes your ears are pierced). You looked at Kioko in shock "put them on y/n sweetie! I know you'll look great!" she said smiling widely, so you did what you were told.
Clipping the chain around your neck and putting on the ring and earrings, you looked at kioko, who was tearing up "Kioko, why are you crying?" y/n said worryingly "oh nothing darling, your just so perfect!" Kioko said, getting her handkerchief from her pocket. "go put your stuff in your bag, so they don't get ruined, after that I need to ask you something" Kioko said finally wiping away her tears.
You nodded and went to put your clothes and accessories in the box the school gave you. Changing into the clothes you had in the morning, you folded the uniform nicely and put it back, the small box of jewelry on top of it.
Once tidying your things and putting into the box inside your half filled duffel bag, then went to the living room where Kioko waited.
"I'm back Kioko, what were you going to ask me?" you said stilling down and finally getting your tea cup, surprisingly it was still warm, and it was blue ocean tea, of course Kioko's favorite tea. "So when are you leaving, not that I'm trying to shoo you away, I just need to prepare not to be so emotional when you leave me" Kioko said taking a sip of her tea.
You thought about going the next day, due that the train ride to Inkopolis Square would be about 6 hours, "I was thinking tomorrow, to leave my so called parents, but I really don't want to leave you!" you said trying not to cry of the fact you'd have to leave your 'mother'. "it's fine dear, this is your choice, this is your life. You want to get out of that hellhole, work for it y/n, this is your dream to go to collage!" Kioko said, almost as if she's giving you a lesson.
You thought about what she said, it's true. You did want to leave this place, but you wanted to take your other 'mother' with you also. "how about this," Kioko's voice interrupted your thinking "what if I go visit you in the weekends, not all the weekends, but some?" she said looking at you straight in your i/e orbs.
"That sounds like a good idea" you said taking a sip of your tea. "fine then, It's settled. I'll make your last dinner from here delicious!" Kioko said putting her now empty tea cup back on the dish.
