After taking a short break at the arcade, you went out to go see the upcoming battle you were invited to.
Entering the seating area, you were greeted with shouts and cheers. The battle hasn't started yet, and the seats were almost taken. You only hummed, placing your new E-liter to the side and sat down, one hand around your e-liter.
Eventually, the players finally came on the stage. To The right was Team Lime-green, Riders team, and to the other side was a bunch of school girls with pink tentacles, all still in their school suits.
You brought your attention to Riders team, finding Rider was already looking at you. Smiling softly you brought your hand up to wave, in which Rider only nodded and looked back at the stage.
━━━━"READY?" Both teams held their weapons tightly, ready to start running, "GO !!" Before you knew it both teams were already in the middle, the spawn points filled with their inks. With Riders dynamo, he got the chance to splat two teammates, while his other friends took the last two.
The leader of the school team, who had her hair to the side, went over to Rider's direction, smiling and giggling as she inked her way. While Rider Inked a spot of pink, The school girl jumped out, yelling something before trying to splat Rider, yet failed miserably. Rider dodged to the side, lifting up his dynamo high then dropping down, inking the girl with lime green.
You could hear her yell Rider too. You sweaat dropped, seeing how Rider fights aggressively. He sure was talented,, so were his teammates. It sure would be hard to surpass someone so skilled like him.
"THATS THE END OF THE GAME !!" you stopped your thinking, realizing the game ended, the teams were teleported to a stage, where the fat cat stood with a smaller one. They both shook, before the larger one held the lime-green flag high for everyone to see.
Everyone screams and cheered, even the other team looked flustered, strange, didn't they get splatted?The leader suddenly shrieked for Rider, in which Rider only walked away with his team. I guess it's time to go meet them.
━━━━ Walking out the tower, you look around, your E-liter on your shoulder. Before you could look further, you felt a presence behind you. You turned around too quickly, relaxing after you saw the face, "Hi Stealth, great game!" Stealth only laughed lightly, his cheeks turning lime green "Thanks! Rider told me he saw you from the seats" you nodded "You guys fought so well, where are the others?" you noticed no one was behind Stealth.
"Look behind you" instantly you turned around to meet the person, no surprise it was Rider, two other girls were to his sides.
You congratulated them for their battle, so learning that one girl was named Bamboo hat and the other was named Blazer. Once you met all of them, Rider then told you they were heading to the training grounds.
So after that, you believed it was time to head back to school with your new weapon.
━━━━Half way to school, you hummed a small tune, smiling as you had a slight good day.
Well, maybe it'll end with some salt.
Turning a corner, you saw some kids were already in front. They weren't normal kids though, they were kids with aqua and red tentacles. Each held a case, meaning they were also in Inkopolis Square. Panicking, you stepped back stood there, away from those people.
Taking a peek, you find they weren't there anymore. You sighed in relief before a hand rested on your shoulder. Yelping in fear, you were met with a gas mask, behind the lenses were lazy teal eyes.
"Chill, whattt's yourr problemmm?" Mask huffed, slouching as he held a case. You apologized, telling him what happened. He only huffed again, "Yeah, those kids are prettyyy freaky, I saww what happennned with you and Vintagge from the hallllls" Mask kept walking to the school, you being beside him with a small frown.
Before you knew it, mask huffed, "I'd be most relaxeddd if I weren't with someoneee..." he glared at you from behind to lenses, getting a small 'oh' from you. immediately you walked faster than him, getting away from anyone.
Sighing, you finally walked normally, looking up to the sky. Stars speckled around the ombre sky, lights from heaven as you used to call them, along with clouds that formed animals.
You sighed again, smiling, at least you were free, sure there's trouble, but it is what it is.
