SIX: PRANK WARS VOL.1

"Today is the day, today is the fucking day Ari! It's prank time."

"Peter you really need to calm down. You're gonna get us caught and we haven't even started."

"I know, I know I'm just so excited!"

"Really? I'd never have guessed." Letting out a faint chuckle. He was right. Today was the day. "Now Peter, I only have the two teleports. I am going to make some more but this prank will be a good test run for them." You gather the teleports and your mini control panels you use to control them and make your way to the main living area. Both you and Peter are scoping out the compound trying to find Loki and Bucky.

You guys get to the living area and are greeted by most of the group and to your luck that includes Loki and Bucky. You hand one of the teleports to Peter. "Now you can magnetise that to Bucky's vibranium arm. Once it's secured make your way back over to me." He nods and makes his way over. Peter walks up to Bucky placing his hand in his metal arm "hey man how you doing?" Bucky returns the arm pat by doing the same to Peters opposite arm. "Hey dude, yeah good. Yourself?"

"Yeah can't complain man! Anyways just wanted to check in haven't seen you for a while." Peter then removed his arm and sighs in relief the tiny gadget has stuck. You'd made them small enough no one wouldn't notice. Now getting it to stick to Loki was going to be more tricky. You reach into your pocket and pull out some special tack you'd be making in the lab. You'd designed it so it would stick to a most anything but easy to remove by manoeuvering it in a certain way. Sounded ridiculous but you managed to develop a formula for it to do so.

It's now or never Ari

You begin walking over to Loki who's currently making his way through from the kitchen. "Hey Loki! How've you been!? Haven't seen you in ages." You lean into him giving him a hug placing both hands on his back. You hold onto him for a few seconds longer than normal. You remove your hands and sigh in relief the teleports stuck. "Hey trouble yeah I'm good thanks, yourself?" He returns the hug and pulls away. "Oh yeah I'm fantastic" you can't kept but give a menacing smile. "What have you done?" He says looking around. "Nothing." You wink and walk away to meet Peter. "ARI! You've done something and I'll find out what!" You keep walking laughing to yourself. "Hey Thor can I borrow you a moment?" You shout across the room. He makes his way over to you and Peter. "Right Thor since you're the official ref get ready. It's prank war time."

"Excellent." He makes his way over to the sofa and flags down Nat, Wanda and Steve. They join him asking what's going on. "Prank time."

**Mr. Blue Sky starts playing on the stereo**

"What's going on?" Loki asks in a distressed tone. "Yeah what's happening? Why is everyone here? What's going on."

Ari: "Ladies and Gentleman thank you for joining us on this fine morning. I would like you all to focus on the television in front of you." Peter switches it on and there is a live stream from all the main rooms in the compound and the outside areas. "Ari what's happening" Bucky interrupts you.

"Ready Peter?" You smirk.
"Ready"

Peter & Ari: "1...2...3..." you both pull out your mini control panels and click the red button. Bucky and Loki disappear.

"OMG Ari it worked!" Peter exclaims.
"Of course it did you idiot, I designed it."

Suddenly from the screen you see Bucky and Loki reappear. Bucky lands in the training centre in the boxing ring. Loki lands in one of the main corridors. Before they can re-adjust to their settings you click the button again. Everyone in the room is in hysterics with laughter, watching Bucky and Loki squirm around not having a clue what's going on. This next time Bucky lands on one of the sun loungers and Loki lands in the pool. That really made everyone laugh. You click the buttons one last time to return them to the room. Bucky comes back straight away but Loki. He's nowhere to be seen. Not even on the television.

"Oh shit!"
"Ari where's Loki?" Peter sounding worried.
"Erm... I... don't know. SHIT!" You begin to panic.
"What do you mean you don't know?" Nat adds.
"Well what I FUCKING said! I don't FUCKING know! Wait oh no the teleports got wet when he landed in the pool! I'll be right back!" You run off towards the lab leaving everyone.

"Does she always use language like that?" Steve asks.
"Mostly when she's stressed, which is what she is right now." Peter half laughs.
"That's what you took from that conversation Cap? Her language" Nat looks at him in disbelief shacking her head slightly laughing.

Everyone is waiting anxiously for your return. It's been 30 minutes now and everyone is getting worried.
"I've got it! I've got it! I can get him back!" You say running into the room. "I need you all to watch the screen to see where he'll land, I can't guarantee it'll be in here." Everyone stays silent. "Hello!? Got it people?" They all answer yes one by one.

"God I hope this fucking works." You begin pressing a sequence into the control pad. "Right ready?"

"Ready" they all answer

"Okay...1...2...3..." you hit the red button.

Loki comes crashing down in the meeting room landing in the middle of the table where Tony is in the middle of a meeting.

Tony: "Loki! What the hell!"

"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!" *huff* bang.

Loki lays there a moment before flicking his head back. Clenching his fists, gritting his teeth.

"I HAVE BEEN FALLING FOR 30 MINUTES!"
