FIFTEEN: The Aftermath

**Thor, Nat, Steve, Loki and Bucky are all listening outside the meeting room.**

"So is somebody gonna tell me what the hell's going on!?" Tony shouts causing everyone in the room and outside the room to jump slightly. Both you and Peter remain silent looking down to the floor. "Right neither of you are gonna talk! That's fine! JARVIS play video footage from the main room today at" *glances at his watch* "3pm onwards. That should cover it."

"Playing video footage sir." JARVIS begins to play the video footage of the incident. 10 minutes pass as the four of you re-watch the footage. Everyone outside the room can also see and hear the footage as the blinds hadn't been fully shut. You're all silent when it is done, Peter and yourself both stood on opposite sides of the room looking down at your feet.

"Well..." Pepper breaks the silence. "Kids wanna explain yourselves?" She folds her arms giving that stern look whilst darting it towards yourself then Peter. You both stay quiet. "GODDAMMIT!!" Tony practically screams slamming his hand on the the table startling you both.

**Outside the meeting room**

Everyone outside also seems very startled by Tony's outburst. "Bucky I think we took it too far this time. Think we broke the perfect duo." Loki says with a half-hearted laugh. "Loki this is not the time to be making jokes." Thor adds. "Sorry." Loki murmurs. "I don't think it's him you should be apologising to." Steve snaps. "Steve relax man." Nat nudges him trying to get him to calm down. "Shhhh. Will everyone be quiet." Bucky says in a loud whisper.

**Back to the meeting room**

Peter speaks first. "Dad I'm sorry the only reason I did what I did was to stand up for Ari! She'd just been arrested that morning and Ryan came in all smug and starting talking smack about her. I couldn't let him get away with it and when he brought up the pictures, I don't know something inside me snapped and I lost it. I don't regret what I did. I would do anything for my sister." Peter then turns to you tears in his eyes. "Ari I'm sorry for what I said I know you would never do such a thing."

"Too late you said what you said. At least now I know what you really think of me."  The room goes silent again, it's your turn to speak.

Here we go.

"Dad listen-" you begin before being quickly interrupted by Tony as he begins to speak over you. "NO you listen here young lady! I don't want any bullshit you hear me?! I want to know exactly what happened! No short version, no bullshit version I want to know how my DAUGHTER got herself arrested and what Peter means about those pictures!!"

*Everyone outside can no longer hear what's going on as you've all stopped shouting, it's all just muffled voices they can hear.*

You've never seen you dad so angry before. It's actually quite scary. You prepare yourself for the worst. You begin to explain everything to your dad, from how you and Ryan got together, to the bad break-up which inevitably led to you smashing his car up in the parking lot. You could see the heartbreak in your dad's eyes when you told him the things Ryan said to you. Peter actually moved across the room to comfort you slightly whilst you were telling them all as the bad memories had caused you to tear up again. You were reluctant for Peter to comfort you, moving away from him slightly.

"Still haven't explained the pictures." Tony's tone is cold, it's become clear he's more bothered about those than the arrest. "Are you serious!" you snap. "Don't you use that tone with me Ariana!" He snaps just as sharp back.

"Pack it in the pair of you!" Pepper has now decided she needs to intervene. "Dad I swear to you... on my life... no wait on Morgan's life... I never did and never have sent any explicit photos."
