Over the last two months, Nathan and I have been on eight dates, and we have another planned for tonight - Saturday. Kai and Adam have been approaved to foster to adopt about a month ago, and are now waiting for a call from their caseworker, Mr. Werner, when they are getting a child.

Will and I wen to a twenty-one and under club last night, and we had an absolute blast. We had arrived at the club at 7:30 p.m. after we had stopped for dinner, and we didn't arrived at his place until 1 a.m. Right now it's noon, and I just got back from the laundromat, and I am thinking a nap is in order before Nathan picks me up 6 p.m. I didn't fall asleep until 3 a.m., and then I was up by 7 a.m. to come home, grab my laundry, and head to the laundromat.

"Kenji, are you okay?" Kai asks while I place away the clean laundry.

Glancing over at my brother briefly with a nod before focusing on my task; "Yeah, I'm okay. I'm just tired from last night, so I'm gonna nap once I'm done, so I'm with it for my date tonight."

"Okay," he replies hesitantly before walking away as his or Adam's cell loudly rings.

Finishing my task, I climb onto the top of my made bed, snuggling down with a tired sigh. Closing my eyes after setting an alarm for four hours from now, I'm sound asleep within seconds. The alarm blares, jarring me from my deep sleep. Groaning, I roll over o turn the alarm off with my eyes still closed. Rubbing the sleep from my tired eyes, I feel like garbage while slowly sitting up on the edge of the bed until I'm awake enough to stand.

Stumbling over to my dresser to grab clothes before making my way over to the closet to grab a shirt. Walking into the bathroom, I turn on the water in the shower to let it warm as I strip out of my clothes. A nice hot shower should help wake me fully, and hopefully get rid of this crummy feeling.

Stepping into the shower, I clean my hair and body with my cucumber melon body wash and shampoo. I'm warm by the time I've finished my shower, so I turn the water off once I'm rinsed, step out to dry myself off. Lathering myself with my oatmeal body lotion, get dressed, brush my teeth and hair before leaving the bathroom with my dirty clothes and towel. Tossing the dirty clothes and towel into the hamper, I leave the bedroom heading toward the living room where I find Adam sitting on the couch alone.

"Hey, where's Kai?" I ask with a scratchy throat and a sniffle.

Adam looks over at me worridly; "He went to the store about an hour ago, so he should be home soon. Are you feeling okay?"

Clearing my throat while nodding; "Okay about Kai, and I feel a little icky, but I'm sure it's nothing."

Adam frowns at me as Kai enters the house with three cloth bags filled with food; "Hey."

He enters the kitchen to place away the food before coming into the living room to sit next to Adam on the couch, and I'm on the recliner.

Kai kisses Adam in greeting before looking at me worridly; "Are you sick, Kenji?"

"I'm just a little icky feeling. Nothhing to worry about," I reply with my throat still scratchy, and my nose stuffy.

"You should stay home tonight then, and sleep," Kai returns with a frown.

"Kai, I love you, bro, but I'm fine," I sniffle as I snuggle further under the blanket I have over my entire body.

"Oh, we have some awesome news," Adam says when he notices Kai was going to argue with me more.

"Yeah, what is that?" I croak out as I focus on them both.

"We've been contacted by our caseworker about fostering a set of 3-year-old twins - Kaiden and Kaidence. They'll be here tomorrow morning at 10 a.m.?" Adam says almost bouncing in his spot with a wide grin.

Grinning at them as I sneeze three times before saying; "That's awesome! I'm so happy for you!"

Getting up from the seat to walk to the bathroom to blow my nose before going back into the living room after washing my hands; "I forgot to tell you. I'm going to look at an apartment tomorrow with Will."

They instantly frown at me with Kai saying; "We are not ready for you to leave yet."

"I know, but it's time for me to do this," I sofly smile at them. "You guys need your home without me here with the twins coming, and I promise to be here all the time to be fun uncle Kenji."

They slowly nod as Adam says; "Okay, if this is really what you want to do, we won't give you a hard time."

"It is," I nod before I have another sneezing fit of three sneezes in a row, and I go to the bathroom to blow my nose again.

Throwing away the dirty tissue, I wash my hands before grabbing several clean tissues to take with me back into the living room. I'm surprised to find Nathan in the living room with Kai and Adam when I return. I never heard the knock on the door, or someone opening the door to let Nathan inside.

"Hey," I sniffle softly in greeting as I come to stand in front of him with a smile.

"Hi Kenji," he greets back with a frown. "Are you sick, love?"

"It's nothing to worry about, I promise," I answer with my smile still in place.

Nathan stares at me silently for a few seconds before saying; "Pack a bag with enough clothing and personal belongings for a few days. You're going to stay with me as Kai and Adam don't need the sickness in the house with two little ones arriving tomorrow."

"What? I'm fine, and I'll be even better come tomorrow morning," I try to weakly argue.

"Kenji, I've already told Nathan you're coming down with a cold," Kai tells me which makes my eyes well.

I get emotional when I'm sick, or getting sick

"Kenji, please?" Nathan gently requests, and I silently nod before doing what I've been asked to do.
