A couple weeks had passed since my initial attempt at resurrection. Nothing much of interest happened during that time outside of successfully enchanting my robes and everyone else's to have a wind effect on them. Basically, I put a fan inside their hoods that they could activate with a simple thought. It wasn't anything as nice as the ones I used to have. However, I wanted to try a better version on better looking clothes. For that reason, and a few others, I pulled Yol'Vaein and Felt aside one day to talk.

"I know we don't have a lot of money right now, but I was thinking we could go into Kle'Xa, or maybe another town, just to take care of some things. I know you've been out here longer than you probably thought you'd be," I paused to glance at Yol'Vaein.

"'Tis fine. I have Lo'Naeri with me again. My home is wherever she is," he said confidently.

I looked to Felt knowing roughly what he was already going to say.

"We killed Visilius and got revenge for everything he has done to myself, my friends, and countless others. I am here to accompany you, Xavier," he stated.

Yol'Vaein looked at me confusedly.

"Ah, sorry. Xavier is my real name, and the one I'm registered in a mercenary guild with. Avariel is the alias I came up with a few years back when visiting a hamlet because I didn't want any rumors to start if I began causing trouble," I explained.

"And trouble you have caused," Felt smirked knowingly.

"Right, so for now, we'll go with calling me Avariel, or The Angel Avariel. Personally, I'm not too fond of 'the angel' part, but I've apparently gained significant renown under that title."

We were near the fruit hammock that Yol'Vaein had set up to keep ants and other crawly-bugs away from the sugary food. I reached up and pulled one down. It was a Rombotan – small, bright green fruit with an avocado shape. There were rather thick and long "hairs" that covered it. It was one of the most common fruits around us.

"So, what did you have in mind if we visited Kle'Xa?" Yol'Vaein asked as he grabbed his own Rombotan.

"I wanted to sell some of the smaller dragon scales and maybe some enchanted clothes after getting some," I said.

"There is always a strong market for those," Felt commented.

"Even though people think magic is terrifying?" I raised a brow in curiosity.

"From my travels, merchants, nobles, and those of higher standing generally know of magic and of at least one who can cast it. 'Tis generally the peasants that do not, though, it also depends on where you are," he replied.

I took a crude knife and cut the Rombotan in half, ripping the looser side off. The center was filled with a solid, yet soft core. I pulled it out and popped it into my mouth and bit into it.

"Can you explain a bit more?" I asked with a full mouth.

The fruit was exceptionally sweet. It was like a fruity-tasting Laffy Taffy.

"There was a town that I lived in with my original adventuring party. Everyone there knew we could use magic, as we even had golems protecting the town. Granted, they were scared at first as most people are. Magic is not nearly as rare as most think it is, but it is generally concealed by people unless necessary," he explained.

"Yes, even in my travels we often encountered those who could cast at least some basic spells, or enchant certain things. There were only a few of them that could do a variety of magic, similar to you," Yol'Vaein chimed in, finally eating his fruit.
