"Wow" Jennie stopped and slowly straightened up when she heard the blonde girl who was leaning against the machines with crossed arms "That's a lot" she was referring to the loads of clothes Jennie have brought.

Of course, it's the weekend, Rosie's laundry day too, and this is the only laundry shop around the corner, they're lucky to have it on the same building as their apartment. Maybe Rosie even got a discount.

She clapped her hands to clear off any residue and banged the machine door close without losing her eye contact with Rosie. What does the girl need? Her attention? "Yeah," she turned her body towards the girl and crossed her arms as well "Jisoo got a lot of date lately" they both made a short laugh.

"How's the cookie?" Rosie pulled herself from leaning and started focusing more on Jennie. She gained more confidence now compared to when Jennie was only wearing a robe.

The girl shrugged "I haven't tasted it yet"

Rosie groaned "I thought you already did," her eyes rolling "you're not that curious on what it taste like?"

"It's not that. It's just that I already had a coffee earlier"

"Just coffee? For breakfast?" her eyebrows raised.

Jennie nodded "Jisoo kinda ditched me for breakfast so..." she faked a laugh which Rosie noticed.

"Come on," she excitedly grabbed Jennie's wrist and pulled them out of the laundry shop "we're having lunch while waiting for our laundry" the girl was smiling from ear to ear and Jennie couldn't help but to reflect the girl's reaction. Maybe something she needed for a while. She let herself be pulled until they crossed the road.

"What do you want? My treat" It was a mini restaurant just in front of their apartment building, nothing new nor special, but it got the best ttoekbokki she have ever had, and she was glad that she tasted it first with Jisoo. She looked up to the apartment, suddenly reminded of the girl, but saw nothing but the pillow she left above the study table. Her eyes widened, god how could she be this stupid?

"Uhh, Rosie," panic was all over her face "I forgot to do something, I'll be right back" she immediately run across the road and left Rosie confused.

"Ttoekbokki!" she shouted before disappearing into the building.

The pillow was still sitting above the table, and just before Jisoo could get out of the bath, she have already placed it on the old spot.

"You okay?" Jisoo curiously asked once she's out of the bath and noticed the panting girl.

Jennie gulped and nodded, "Yeah," she choked "just doing a little stretch"

The other girl chuckled "What a good way to waste time" she walked past Jennie and opened the closet door.

"Do you want anything from Hong's? I'm having my lunch there" her thumb pointing behind.

Jisoo turned to her with visibly glossy eyes, is it the bath? Was it too warm? Refreshing? Her dripping hair distracts Jennie from her thoughts as she gulped again, for a different reason this time "I'm good" her voice deeper than she intends it to be.

Jennie chewed her inner lip, they were staring at each other for a while then she went closer to lean forward and give a short sultry kiss, Jisoo was just too irresistible "I'm going then" she left the girl to dress then left.

"Sorry, I forgot to do something" Jennie awkwardly smiled once she's settled on the sit in front of Rosie.

"It's okay, you're just in time" she grabbed her chopsticks and started munching "I really love their ttoekbokki here" Rosie groans.

The other girl chuckled, taking her own chopsticks as well "It's the best" she started picking a couple of rice noodles from her bowl and felt the gaze of the girl in front of her. She decided to ignore it at first but decided to meet it after her third bite, it was honestly a little bothering. She looked at Rosie with frowning eyebrows and waited for the girl to speak.

Rosie quickly averted her gaze and stuttered "I- ah- I'm sorry, you have—" she finally had the courage to look at Jennie again and reach for the girl's chin, just below her bottom lip. She wiped the red soup and showed her messy thumb in front of Jennie's face then giggled.

"Oh" Jennie grabbed Rosie's wrist and casually pulled the girl's hand closer to suck the thumb clean "I'm sorry" she said in her most monotonous voice.

Rosie's mouth went agape from the sudden act, making her blush real hard. Does Jennie have no idea that she have a huge crush on her? She's making it pretty obvious lately but she didn't expect the girl to be this naive and bold.

Jennie instantly noticed the girl's reaction and realized that the woman in front of her wasn't Jisoo. That the person in front of her was someone she's not fond yet "Oh, oh god I'm sorry" she quickly grabbed a napkin and wiped Rosie's thumb "I'm really really sorry"

"N-no it's okay" Rosie awkwardly chuckled and pulled her hand from Jennie "I was just surprised, no worries" she shook her head convincingly.

Jennie heaved a sign while looking around to cool herself down. Telling herself a lot of stupid inside her head. Because how could she be this stupid? She should definitely get used to having more people other than Jisoo in her life. She's so pathetic.

She heard Rosie giggle again as they continued eating, she took a peak at the smiling girl and giggled too while shaking her head in disbelief "I can't believe myself. I'm really sorry Rosie" at least the tension was gone now.

"Nah, it's alright." she took a huge gulped of water while eyeing Jennie, and signed once she's done "You're aware that I have a crush on you, aren't you?"

Jennie lowered her head and laughed shyly, she then lifted her chin and looked at Rosie again with a smile "I guess?" she shrugged, making the other girl groan.

"Of course you do." her eyes rolling "I think I was pretty obvious ever since I gave you a large discount for the apartment" they were both laughing.

"Yeah," she cleared her throat "anyway, thanks for that Rosie, you're actually pretty cool". She knew Jisoo doesn't like the girl, but honesty, she have done nothing but to make their lives much easier. Rosie is an angel.

She decided to invite the girl in their unit and eat the cookies together since they were both craving for sweet, a new company won't hurt right? Maybe Jisoo would realize what a beautiful soul Rosie is, she could be part of their little world, it could start fresh relationship. Some part of her is afraid that Jisoo might be getting sick of her too, that Jisoo might realize someday that Jennie only has her, and no one else.

They were both laughing on their way out of the Hong's when Jennie stopped. Across the road was Jisoo, wrapping her arms around her boyfriend's neck, giggling as if Sehun was the funniest person alive. And it did nothing but to shift Jennie's mood quickly, and way too obviously.

"Are you okay? Why did we stop?" Rosie asked curiously, taking a glance on the same direction on Jennie's gaze "Hey" she lightly bumped Jennie's arms, making the other girl turn to her in surprise.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I-" she awkwardly pointed on the other side of the road and forced a smile "I thought Jisoo could join us, but I guess not"

Rosie shrugged "No problem, she could join us next time" the latter only nodded.

They crossed the road just after Jisoo and Sehun was gone. Jennie tilted her head back again, wondering where the two went off and signed before going up in the building. Now she's not wondering on why Jisoo doesn't want anything for lunch.
