2013.
I was only eighteen during that time.
Only eighteen when I first fell in love.
"Come on Jen! Don't be such a bummer!" Jisoo was pulling Jennie in the large crowd, it was only two weeks from her 18th birthday, two weeks from when Jisoo kissed her. And the girl was planning this even before she was this age. She was just too excited. And of course, so is Jennie. Just look at the smile on Jisoo's face.
That was her greatest view.
They never really talked about the make out session they did last two weeks ago. She knew Jisoo would be the kind of girl who loves playing around but it was everything for Jennie, she felt the fast beating in her chest, and the thoughts of owning Jisoo for the rest of her life. Call her pathetic, but it was undeniably falling in love. And the hopes that Jisoo felt the same way too.
Once in the middle of the dance floor, the two started jiving, and obviously, Jisoo was a natural. There's something about her moves that kept Jennie's own energy fly and high. They started dancing, and jumping, and screaming, until she no longer felt Jisoo's presence around her. She looked around and saw no signs of the girl. She was worried as hell, her friend is drunk and they have no other company but each other.
Jennie pulled herself out of the tight crowd and seek the dark place for Jisoo. Until she bumped onto a tall guy who seemed to be busy grinding on the wall with a woman. Jennie would roll her eyes and click her tongue in annoyance until she realizes that the woman who was currently pinned on the wall was the one she was looking for.
Kim Jisoo. My first love.
Her dream was stolen in an instant. She was left dumbfounded, staring deeply onto the girl with shut eyes, agape lips, and tilted head. Her giggles too sensual and clear through Jennie's ears while the guy kept nibbling and sucking on her neck and jaw, and sometimes to her cheek that Jennie once dreamed of kissing too. She was that shallow, maybe it was pure love.
Her heart was still tearing into pieces when her eyes started letting out some silent tears. Her throat was dry, and she can't move nor speak. She doesn't know what to do.
She felt like she was left in a deserted place.
And even before she could let out a loud sob and be noticed, she quickly blocked her mouth with both hands and run towards the exit, pouring every bits of pain out. She dropped herself to sit on a cold ground and broke down, not minding the people around her.
She was a mess that night, but who cares? She just had to let the pain go away. The club that was supposed to be a new place for fun was hell. The most disgusting place Jennie had ever been to. Maybe the trauma had led her to hate any dance floor until now. Making her a bar person, just drowning herself in alcohol and laying her eyes on the girl that might disappear at any moment again.
She was supposed to be mine.
The first time she danced was also the last time. And as long as she's with Jisoo, nothing will ever change.

Rosie snapped her fingers in front of Jennie's face, waking her up from her deep thoughts "You okay?" the girl's surprise expression explains that she's not.
"Uh yeah," shaking her head "sorry I was spacing out" releasing a dry chuckle making Rosie breathe out.
The blonde girl grabbed her second cookie. They were on the couch with the TV on. And ever since the incident earlier, Jennie couldn't help but to be reminded of the past.
The feeling when someone stole something from you.
Jisoo doesn't usually go out on broad daylight with just anyone. Maybe she's really in love with Sehun.
"You can tell me anything" Rosie's eyes and voice were full of concern, maybe telling someone could help?
Jennie heaved a sign, she looked down and tried to relax her muscles before turning back to Rosie again "Is it okay?" her tone was hesitant yet the latter just nodded with a smile.
"I... I have this one friend that I'm in love with," she was interrupted by Rosie's loud snort. The girl just couldn't help but to release a loud laugh.
She placed her hand above Jennie's own once she has calmed down "You could tell me that it's Jisoo" she smiled warmly "I'm not that stupid" she chuckled sweetly, making Jennie too.
"Okay." she rolled her eyes. Of course, it was obvious. Ever since they lived here she never really brought anyone, unlike Jisoo who brought over guys for a said
'movie' that leads to touching or who knows what more. Jennie just automatically leaves whenever the situation gets to that and it sucks, she owns this place too. If only she's not too considerate enough for Jisoo's feelings "Rosie, do you think I should stop?"Rosie heaved a sign and looked down "Do you want me to be honest here?" Jennie nodded vigorously "Okay, then my answer is yes. And this is not because I like you or something, but because you're a human too, Jen. If you keep torturing yourself like this, no new or exciting things will ever happen in your life, you won't be able to grow"
It was Jennie's turn to heave a sign. Rosie's right, it was actually always at the back of her mind, she just kept denying it. Loving Jisoo was addicting. Maybe she'll try detoxicating little by little.
"I'll try" she looked at Rosie meaningfully "Thanks Rosie" she turned her hand around and squeezed Rosie's.
The girl chuckled "Glad I could help" she grabbed another cookie but held it in front of Jennie's mouth this time. Jennie laughed and playfully took a bite.
"Mmhh~ god Rosie this is so good, you didn't tell me you have such talent for baking, you should make more of these" she groaned and nodded convincingly while chewing the huge bite, making Rosie giggle.
Their little chitchat was broken when the door swung open, Jisoo stopped when she saw the two on the couch and released a little "Oh" she took one step without letting go of the knob and stopped again "Am I interrupting something?" she asked, releasing a shaky chuckle which Jennie immediately noticed. She really hate Rosie, how could she convince Jisoo to like this angel?
"No, no. Come in, we're just having cookies" Rosie gestured to let Jisoo come in.
Jisoo clenched the door knob and forced another tight lip smile "Nah, I'm good, I just left something" she lets go of the knob and walk toward the basket "Uh... Jen? Have you seen any lighter here?" her eyes dilated before quickly adding "It's Sehun's"
Jennie stood up and went towards the drawers to grab the little thing "Here" she held it in front of Jisoo and didn't let go of her hand until she's finished "Don't let him smoke around you, okay?"
Jisoo pulled her hand away and groaned "Yes mom" she rolled her eyes and turn around to leave "See you later, mom" she waved goodbye and banged the door close, making Jennie sign.
"Sweet mom" Rosie mumbled sarcastically, smirking teasingly at the sight of a worried looking Jennie "I suddenly miss my own mom" she laughed while watching Jennie flop beside her again.
She leaned back lazily and blocked her eyes with an arm "God, I really need help Rosie" frustration was eating her up.
Rosie's lips drew into a wide grin, her teasing expression remained as she spoke again "I could help" her voice low and tempting, making Jennie peak at her.
She stared at the girl's determined eyes and plump lips.
Could she?
