4. A Little Fun Did Hurt

Juliet's POV
Bang

I gasped.

I slowly open my eyes.

Luke holding his hand up to his lower waist.

Blood over his hands.

"If can't have you no one can." She smiled being pushed into the floor by one is the guards.

"Someone call 911!" I yell.

"No! No!" I ran to him as he collapsed. "Luke. Like stay with me! Please guys give me something a towel please!" I yelled. Putting pressure on the wound. "I-I love you." Luke gasped for air. "I love you too. Luke please look at me. You gotta wait a little it b-but you'll make it ok? Please like you cant leave me. I- I need you." Alex hands me a towel. "This is gonna hurt but I need to stop the bleeding." I sniffled. He nodded as put put pressure on the wound. "Come in dude your gonna be ok y'know you still haven't given me your bank account." Reggie laughed kneeling beside me. He starts to close his eyes. "Luke! No! Please! Stay with me! Stay awake! Don't go to sleep please-please." Paramedics show up and take him into a ambulance. I run over to the ambulance. "Only two people can come with him we have to go now."

"Julie and I will go. Flynn c-can you drive everyone to the hospital?" Alex replied. I hopped in the ambulance siting next to him holding his hand. "Please. Please." I Whisper and kissed his hand. Alex sat across to me as they close the door and we start moving. "Please do something he's dying and you're not doing anything!" I yell. "J-Julie calm down their doing everything they can." Alex's interrupted. "Calm down? You're brother is dying right in front of you and you want me to calm down?"

We arrived to the hospital Luke was quickly taken into emergency surgery. Alex and I sat in the hall. Waiting for everyone to show up. My hands were covered in blood. His blood. My whole body was shaking. That's when I see a group of people walk in. I run over to Emily. "I'm sorry I couldn't stop her. I'm so sorry I-I- I-" she pulls me into a hug. "It's not your fault honey." She wiped tears from my face. "No but it- it is if Luke and I weren't together this would've never happened." I cry. "Love is so much stronger then anything that just happened...I'm sure Lucas would've taken that bullet any day for you." She kisses my forehead and I smile softly. "Julie? I think you guys should change." Flynn cuts in. I nod. "Can you come with me? I don't wanna get blood all over the new clothes." I asked. "Yeah of course." We head to the bathroom. "Consider this the worst day ever." Flynn says while I wash my hands clean from his blood. "Uh...yeah." I say not really paying any attention to what she said. I walked into a stall and she hands my some clothes in a bag. "Thank you." I close the door. "Mhm." After I changed I walked out in a sports bra and grey sweat pants. I tie my hair in a high pony tail and we both walk out I shiver as soon as I do. "You cant ware a shirt Juliet?" My Father asks. "Lay off Dad out of all days today is not a good day to pick on her." James steps up in front of me taking off his jacket putting it over my shoulders pulling me into a hug. I snuggled my head into his neck. "It'll be ok...don't worry." He whispered. I nodded and pulled away zipping up the jacket. I doctor walked up to us. "For Lucas Patterson?" He asked. "Yes." We all say. "He's going to be in surgery for about an hour...he'll be asleep for another 30 minutes. Hopefully everything will go smoothly he didn't loose and much blood as we thought he did who ever stoped the bleeding most likely saved his life." He smiled and walked away. I let out a shaky sigh and sat down. "J-Julie your not happy? You saved his life." Flynn exclaimed. I nod. "Yeah." I felt so useless. Just sitting there doing nothing. I sat at next to James and Reggie. I rested my head on Jame's shoulder. Closing my eyes for little bit. I little but turned into an hour. James shook his shoulder waking me up. "Hmm?" I rubbed my eye. "Luke's out of surgery. I looked up to see everyone talking to the doctors." I walked up to them. "Can I see him." I asked. "Are you family?" The nurse asked. "No." I replied. "We're only letting family in right now."
