Byeol

"I think the boys are being suspicious with Moonbin and I."

Manager Noh said on the other line.

Great.

Another forking problem.

I grabbed a fistful of my hair and tugged on it.

At this point I just wish the soil would just open up and swallow me whole.

"What happened?" I tried to ask without sounding so panicked.

Manager Noh told me about everything as I paced around. Especially about Eunwoo who was extra suspicious about them. He said he overgeard the boys talking during a break and that Eunwoo and Rocky saw MB3's eye color change into all black when he was low in battery.

I gave my best efforts to stay calm despite all of the things happening to me right now. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, which I forgot to exhale when Manager Noh said, "Shall we tell the boys about the truth?"

I felt sanity drain out of me when I heard him say it.

"NO!!!" I yelled at the top of my lungs.

After realizing the raise of my voice, I cleared my throat and took another deep breath.

"I am sorry. I did not mean to yell," I apologized first.

"Manager Noh, I know you are having a hard time keeping this whole situation a secret. Me too. We are both having a hard time. But please, let us hold on to our last thread of hope. We can pass through this," I said as I try to cheer him and myself.

I heard him heave a sigh.

"And what if they actually find out?" He said sounding doubtful and worried.

I closed my eyes again and played with my left earring.

"They won't find it out. We just have to be very careful. Both you and MB3 have to be very careful," I said while internally praying to all the deities I have read about to keep our secret a secret for the mean time.

He muttered an agreement and was about to end the call but I cut him off.

"Please...take care of my Moonbin..." I said pertaining to MB3.

"I promise to take care of yours," I continued as I stared at the real Moonbin's door.

"I will," he replied with a stern voice before ending the call.

Dr. Ji

I was sipping on my coffee, waiting for Hae noona to arrive. I called her to meet me at a café because I wanted to tell her something important.

I decided to tell her about her idol's condition. I know she might not take this well as it was her bias(?) after all.

But I just think she deserves to know, so she can prepare herself and avoid breaking her heart in the future.

I cherish Hae noona more than anyone and anything in this world. She saved me when I was just a small child.

It was a rainy night. Lightning was the only light I have and thunders were roaring in the sky.

The seven years old me was soaking in the rain as I run away from the orphanage.

I was an orphan.
