Peter and I secretly dated all through the summer. It was loads of fun, sneaking around, stealing kisses, and trying to stay as quiet as possible. The only people that knew about our relationship were Ned, MJ, May, and surprisingly Pepper. You'd be impressed by how hard it is to keep a secret from that woman.
When she caught us the first time, Peter and I had been dating for maybe a week. He was walking me back to Tony's building.
"I'll see you later," He said.
"Thanks for walking me. Are you sure you're ok to walk back?" I asked.
He laughed and kissed my forehead.
"Yes, Kaity,"
I hugged him once more for good measure, and walked inside. He watched me walk inside.
"Hey, Pep," I smiled, hoping she didn't see what just happened.
"Hi, K," She replied.
I fluffed my hair and walked towards the elevator.
"What're you doing down here?" I asked.
"Oh, you know... work," She smirked.
I could tell by the look on her face she'd seen everything. I bit my lip, repressing a smile.
"So, what'd you and Peter do?" Pepper asked.
"He just explained some human things to me... you know,"
"Like kissing?"
I turned to face her. She was looking down at a piece of paper with the biggest smirk.
"Possibly," I coughed.
"I knew there was something up with you two! Does your father know?" She laughed.
"No, and I didn't plan on telling him. He'd flip," I replied.
"I won't tell him if you don't want me to," She promised.
"Thanks, Pep," The elevator dinged "You coming?"
"Yeah, I only came down here to catch you, anyways," She laughed.
"Pepper!"
She always kept her promises, so Tony was left in the dark. He was so painfully clueless.
Clunk.
Something hit my window. I flinched and tried to see what it was, but it was too dark.
Clunk.
Another object hit my window. It was probably a bird, my room was pretty high up in the tower. I forced the window open and stuck my head out. A rock swished past my head and hit the wall.
"Sorry!" Peter yelled.
"Peter?" I exclaimed. "Where are you?"
He slowly appeared, upside down, hanging from a web.
"You idiot, come inside," I giggled.
He kissed me before flipping over and ducking in.
"Does May know you're here?" I asked.
"No," He smiled.
I tossed a pillow back on my bed.
"You should've texted me, I would've cleaned up in here,"
I heard footsteps approaching.
Ceiling! I mouthed.
He silently jumped and clung to the wall shadowed by the door.
