"SHE'S BITING AGAIN!" Hawks let out a sigh as Dabi screamed. He was holding his leg where the small girl had bitten. "I THOUGHT SHE ONLY BIT IN HER FOX FORM!" "You'd think." Hawks easily got the little girl off, who was happily giggling at the man's pain. The group had been walking to the nearest town, when Himiko decided that the strange man was talking too much. Shoto watched the chaos unfold, wondering about the noise that woke him. "Wait where's Fumi? Shoto where's your brother?" Hawks asked his youngest son, realizing his middle child was missing. "Had to go to the bathroom." Dabi answered as he checked his leg for any broken skin from the bite. "You let my 2 year old son go to the bathroom, in the woods." Hawks took a deep breath to regain his composure. "Kids never repeat anything Mama is about to say. Okay?" The 2 children happily nodded and headed to a blueberry bush, while Hawks refocused his attention to the dark haired man who was fixing his pants. "WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU LET A 2 YEAR OLD GO INTO THE WOODS BY ALONE!" Hawks began practically strangling Dabi. "YOU'RE GONNA HELP ME AND TAKE YOUR STUPID PATHETIC ASS INTO THOSE WOODS AND HELP FIND HIM. AND IF YOU DON'T." Hawks peacefully laughed pulling him close. "I'm gonna take another feather and crave you like a fucking pumpkin. Got it?" "God your fucking hot when your angry." "I said got it?" "Yep yep. Find little one, don't get craved like a pumpkin."
"Fumi! Come out. We're worried!" Hawks screamed. Dabi grumbled as he was forced to hold the 2 other kids. One who wasn't surprisingly wiggly and bity and really annoyed at the strange man holding her. They carefully made their way across, trying not to step on any rocks or stray berries that were laying on the forest floor. "Wait." Hawks called out picking up a small sliver ball off the ground near a bush. "This is his. It's from a bracelet he likes to chew on." Hawks looked around to see 2 more exactly identical beads. Along with a trail of more beads till he saw on final bead still on the string by an entrance into a cave. "Hawks what are youu-OH Fuck NO!" The black haired man grabbed Hawks's wings trying to pull him away. "Kegio I get that you love your son but that is a dragon's den. So he is either d e a d or is going to d i e." Dabi whispered trying not to alert the dragon or worry the other kids. Unlike Hawks Dabi had heard rumors of what dragons/dragon shifters do to people who enter their dens without permission. People getting eaten alive, burned alive and worse. "So let's go okay. We can make another one, so let's gooooo. "
'How did he convince me to do this I don't fucking know.' Dabi thought as they walked through the cave. Shoto and Himiko were strapped onto Hawks back thanks to a quickly made baby wrap carrier. Hawks had so lovingly pushed Dabi ahead. They made their way further into the cave till they could see the tip of tail. It suddenly moved, wiping the magic user in the face, before disappearing. Hawks muffled a laughed before pushing Dabi even further. They kept walking, only taking a break when Himiko jumped out the wrap to go try and eat pixies. They finally reached a giant nest. Piles of coins ranging from Iron to gold to steel laid around. A giant grey dragon was peacefully sleeping, with their tail wrapped around them. The grown men froze in awe as the dragon took a deep inhale. Bright yellow eyes meet yellow eyes as the dragon got and unraveled, revealing it's large form. Right underneath them were 2 small figures, one Hawks quickly recognized.
"Who dares to disturb my nest?" The dragon said, spreading her massive legs, getting into what looked like a warning stance. "Um you have my son. We just came to get him back." Hawks answered as he tried to reach the sleeping child, only to be blocked by her arm.
"Well we were visiting our lodge when his sister over here started causing trouble. And well we took our eyes off him for one second and well he's gone." Hawks chuckled. "You know how they are at this age, always running off. Even more with them cause I got 3 of em. You know how it is"
To Dabi's surprise the dragon lowered her head. "You have no idea. My little Nejire over here, always asking questions to anyone, just yesterday she ran up to a tree giant and asked him a million questions, can you believe how embarrassing it was." The dragon huffed in annoyance before handing out her paw. "Tatsuma Ryūko. But please call me Ryukyu." She introduced herself.
"Oh I can just be glad yours isn't biting people. When she can't talk about her feelings. Bite bite bite. And Keigo Takami but you can call me Hawks." He shook her paw again much as Dabi stared at the stacks of coins, laid around. The coins still shined through the heavy layers of dust. The Himiko carefully jumped out and walked over to the small but bigger then her periwinkle dragon. They carefully sniffed each other around before they began play fighting. "Looks like they get along. Well take your son. Be more careful, my friend Kirishima, she has a little boy of her own would most certainly try keep the child." Dabi quickly picked up the boy then running back behind Hawks. "Hey ya little shit." Dabi mumbled under his breath, petting the small boy's head, a small smile appearing on his face. He quickly wiped it off and hoped no one saw that. "Well thank you so much, Himi come on." The 2 girls who had transformed back into humans said their goodbyes. Hawks and Ryuku said their goodbyes and Hawks apologized a bit for his 'husband' weird behavior before parting ways.. Of course taking another break when Himiko again jumped out and began to chase pixies only to get chased by a swarm of them (thankfully Dabi burned them all which was weirdly easy considering he was holding a kid). "Mama it broke." "I know sweetie and we'll get it fixed in town." Hawks ruffled Fumi's hair, as they exited the cave.
