[ODESSA'S POV]
The cacophony of the dining round resounded through my ears. The soft clicking of the utensils creating a musical background under the joyful voices of the young wizards.
"Medusa really deserves better! Athena is the actual villain of the story. " said Vesper, a stern look plastered on his face.
"Medusa was a home wrecker, she got what she deserved !" answered Florence, rolling her eyes as she let a exasperated sigh leave her mouth.
My eyes moved from boys to boys, fixed towards the Gryffindor table. The raven-haired boy leaned forward, flipping his hair dramatically to the side to murmur in the ear of the boy to his right. This other boy grinned mischievously, leaning as well, resulting in his glasses falling slightly off the bridge of his nose. The blond and sandy haired boys gave each other a look, both knowing that a troublesome plan was in creation. My time at Hogwarts didn't start that long ago, but I knew those wizards. They were popular and arrogant. I can't comprehend how Vesper is even related to such a troublemaker.
I shook my head disapprovingly, adding to my thoughts. Then, I felt a hand pressuring my arm. I turned around to met golden brown eyes looking straight in mine."Odessa... where's your mind ?" Asked Vesper, raising an eyebrow in a playful way.
"Nowhere, I just wanted to get away from your arguments." I responded, smiling mockingly at both of the Hufflepuff in front of me.
"But Medusa really searched for trouble and you have to agree with that, right ?"
"I have to be with Vesper on this one actually..." I said, pressing my lips together to contain a laugh, anticipating her reaction.
Florence started to groan, throwing her arms in the air, blabbering about how the both of us are always against her. This was a very usual morning. As she kept going at us, the bell rang. All the wizards got up from the benches in a mechanical manner, used to the routine. We did the same, parting different ways to go our lessons.
