Laura's POV
I walk briskly, holding my husband's hand as we make our way to her dorm. My only daughter, in a coma. How could I let this happen? I squeeze his hand yet again, trying to prevent the tears from rolling down my cheeks. He looks down and smiles at me "It's going to be okay, Laur. I promise. She's strong." I smiled back, hoping his words would turn out true. He stops, and I realize I was too caught up in my own mind to realize we were at her door.
I take a deep breath and knock just to make sure no one is inside and the knob turns, startling me. Standing in front of us is a young man, Brown messy hair and his deep brown eyes red as can be. Obviously he's startled as well, and all that he does is stare. His mouth ajar like he's going to speak but he doesn't. " Hi I'm John, this is Laura. We are looking for a Jesse Brooks?"
The boys looked surprised "Yes, she's my Girlfriend. Who are you?" "Oh We're her parents. We got a call from Andrew, telling us she was in the hospital. Sorry to disturb, we just assumed no one would be here."
"Oh, uh it's fine I'm just clearing my head" he said, leaning against the door frame. He slouches, and I can tell he hasn't been sleeping well. "Is everything alright?" I ask, unable to hide the concern in my voice.
He looks up, and I can see the sorrow in his dark eyes. "Yea, uh, it's just been hard lately with Jess and everything you know.. Oh I'm Jason by the way" he says reaching out his hand, and John and I shake it. " Well we are about to head down to the Hospital now, would you like to come with us?"

Andrew's POV
"There is nothing ever on this damned TV" I think to myself, flipping through the channels nonchalantely. I think about the days passed since I've been in this city. The fight I had with Jason. Seeing Jesse again. And the car accident... It has went so fast. Mid thought, I think I hear Familiar voices in the hall. They get louder and louder until I swear they are in my room. And in the next second, they are. "Andrew?" I hear Jesse's mom say, and then shes hugging me."Hello Mrs. Brooks!" I say, still surprised of their presence "Hey Andy" Mr. Brooks says out stretching his hand for me to shake. For a slight moment, I almost forget about my wrist, and quickly switch hands to shake his. "I'm so sorry about what happened. How are you feeling?" She says smiling, and I wonder how she's always in such a great mood. I look up at her, and see Jesse through and through. They have the same chocolate eyes, and lovely smile.
"I'm doing fine, Thankyou. You are the one I should be asking that" I replied, and wincing remembering Jesse's condition. "I'm getting along, Me and John have each others back" she said, still smiling but I could see a tinge of sadness in her eyes "Jason is in there with her now, but I don't think he's taking it so well. Why didn't you tell us about him?" A confused look across her face. In that moment, I wasn't quite sure what to say. I didn't hate him... but I didn't exactly think of him as a friend either. In my eyes, he'd stolen my Jess away from me. Maybe we could've been together, and be back in Missouri with a farm of our own...
I was so deep in thought, I almost didn't see Jason walk into the room, his eyes ringed with red from Exhaustion, and most likely tears. Mr. Brooks smiled at him, and motioned to the chair for him to sit. As he did, he shot me a glance. Maybe he's upset I didn't tell him about Jesse's parents.. Or still the reoccurring fact that I was in the car when his "girlfriend" was injured, and hospitalized. Why does he get to call her that? Why doesn't she love me... I thought, but soon snapped out of it as soon as I see one of the nurses walk into the room, her blonde hair in a loose ponytail and her scrubs covered in cats.
"Mr and Mrs Brooks?" She said, her high voice ringing throughout the room, scanning our faces and stopping on Jesse's parents. Could I talk to you in the hall for a moment?" Mrs. Brooks smiled and grabbed Mr. Brooks hand as they walked out of the hall together.
I got ready to try and listen to their conversation, because quite frankly any new information about Jesse's condition was something of interest for me, when Jason towered over me. He was about to say something, when he looked towards the hallway and started running.
