Jason's POV
I realized I had fallen asleep yet again, as the sound of my phone buzzing on the counter awoke me. I slowly got up, and smiled thinking it was probably Jesse letting me know she was on her way back.
I look down to see it is indeed Jesse calling, but the voice on the other end isn't her.
"Jason!" I heard the familiar voice say, and realized who I was talking to. "Andrew? Why are you calling me from Jesse's phone?" I asked. " Look, I'm in the hospital with Jesse you need to get down here now!" Andrew replied, sounding frantic.
The only words I heard were Jesse and Hospital before I began to Panic. " Ok i'll be right there!" I yelled, and hung up the phone, rushing to get dressed and grabbing my keys on the way out.
Jesse's POV
As I awoke, I soon felt the pain in my head, but the rest of my body felt numb. I slowly opened my eyes, to find a nurse in front of me, looking at a chart. And that's when the realization hit. I'm in the Hospital?
"Oh honey, you're awake!" she exclaimed, smiling down at me " I'll let your visitor know." "My visitor?" I asked but before I had finished, she was gone. I looked down to see the casts on my left leg, and wrist. I felt the tear run down my cheek, as soon as I realized what had happened.
"Hey, don't cry I heard a familiar voice say, and I looked up to see Jason standing next to my bed, with a bouquet of Sunflowers in his hand. I began to cry harder, and stretched out my arms for a hug. Jason leaned down and held me, and I thought I could hear him crying as well. " It's going to be ok Jess" I heard him whisper in my ear, and he kissed my cheek, still holding me in his arms. A few more tears slipped out, but I felt safe in the comfort of his embrace.
I took in a deep breath as he pulled away. "Thank you for those beautiful flowers" I said, still a little shaken. " beautiful flowers for a beautiful girl" He replied smiling, and I laughed. " I can't look so beautiful right now" I replied " at least I don't feel like it". " You always look beautiful to me" He answered and I couldn't help but smile along with him, a small tear running down my face.
" I am so lucky" i thought to myself, and then realized I hadn't seen Andrew. Oh my gosh, what happened to him? Is he ok? "Jason, where is Andrew?" I asked anxiously. " Don't worry he's doing fine, just a couple broken bones. He was the one who called me, you know?" He said, trying to comfort me. "Well i'm glad hes doing well" I replied "Can I see him?" "Not just yet, the nurses said he has to get some sleep. and so should you" He said, laying down next to me."But, Jason" I answered yawning. " Shhh, just rest. I'll stay with you." He told me, running his fingers through my hair, and with that I closed my eyes.
