The Soft Type

That night had trouble sleeping. All that i could do was roll around, trying to get comfortable. i looked at my clock, the only source of light in the dark as it read 1:37 A.M. "One o'clock in the morning? unbelievable." i muttered to myself as I got out of bed. I have got to resolve this, or I won't get any sleep.

I walked next door and knocked quite a few times, with no response. "Jason?" i called quietly, trying not to wake up everyone else. I found the door unlocked, and slowly peeked around the corner only to find Jason curled up fast asleep. " Aw, he's so cute when he sleeps" i thought to myself with a girly giggle. I softly closed the door, and walked over to him. I jiggled him a bit, but he didn't seem to respond. " I'll just wait for him to wake up" i thought, as i sat down "It shouldn't be too long, I whispered softly, mid yawn.

Jason's POV

I woke up to something warm next to me. I lowly opened my eyes to find Jesse facing me fast asleep, with my arms around her. Hmm, talk about deja-vu. She's so cute when she sleeps, and how her little nose crinkles up when she smiles.. She really is beautiful. I almost just want to kiss her.. I began to lean in and just almost touched her lips as her eyes flew open. "whaaa... Where am I?" she whispered, with a groggy voice. "Oh, uh I don't know i just woke up and there you were and i wasn't trying to kiss you or anything.." i rambled nervously and quickly got up scratching the back of my head. She slowly sat up and her coffee brown eyes glittered with sleep.

"ok.." she layed back down, and fell asleep as soon as her head hit the pillow. "Well that was weird" i said quietly, as I walked to the freezer. " Frozen Waffles! YES!" I said trying not to be too loud, and popped them into the toaster. " I sat in front of the bed just looking at her for awhile. " You my friend are very confusing, you know that?" i said to her. " Ditto" she replied back. Alittle startled at first, I poked her cheek and realized she was just talking in her sleep. " I didn't really like that girl yesterday you know.." i told her " the only person I really have feelings for is-"POP" the waffles jumped out of the toaster. Her eyes flew open again, but this time she was wide awake.

"What? Oh my Gosh! Did I sleep here all night?" she asked as she stood up. "Uh, yea. When I woke up, you were there."

"Oh, I'm so sorry." she said apologetically " I just came here to talk to you, and you were sleeping.. I was going to wait for you to wake up, but I must've fallen asleep."

"Hey, it's ok. No biggie. Want a Waffle? It's Ego!" I said with a big cheesy smile on my face, just for effect. She giggled. " Thankyou, but i better go...uh, thanks for letting me sleep here." she said as she walked toward the door. I lightly touched her arm, and she spun around. " Anytime. Goodbye Hug?" "Sure, why not." she replied with a small smile, but I could tell she was embarassed and just being polite. She hugged me, and walked through the door. i leaned against it when she walked out, and thought about all that had happened this morning...

Jesse's Pov

I leaned my head against the door, and could only think how stupid I must have looked.I should go back and say something.. i began to turn the door knob, when i felt it turning already. i quickly pulled my hand back as the door opened and Jason was looking down at me. " Oh, you uh forgot your jacket." " oh, uh yea thats what I came back for, heh" I reached for my jacket, but then touched his hand instead. Our eyes met, and the next thing I knew, he was pulling me close to him, and kissing me.
