I woke up the next morning to noises coming from the hallway. Oh I wonder if there's finally someone moving in next door!" I said in mid yawn as I stretched my arms in the air.
I quickly got dresses in my usual jeans, and a green hoodie topping it all off with a messy bun.
I opened the door to see a boy standing there with boxes in his hand, and he dropped them when he noticed me. " Oh here I'll help you with those" I said after bending down to pick then up.
"Hey" he said to me with a wink, "I'm Jason." I rolled my eyes and walked back into my dorm. Of course he was one of Those guys. The pretty ones who think they're gorgeous and every girl will fall in love with them. Typical.
As I walked to my laptop I heard a knock on my door. " Hey I never caught your name!" I could hear him saying from the door " or your number" he mumbled under his breath.
I walked up to the door and greeted him with a "You just don't give up do you?". He shook his head. "Well come on in I guess" I said as he plopped on my couch. "So what is your name?" He asked me a second time. " It's, uh, Jesse" I replied trying to hide my smile. He may be self centered, but awful cute.
"Nice name" he replied " suits you. So Is this your first year of college?" "No actually my second, how about you?" "Second as well " he said before checking in my fridge. "Nosy much?" I thought to myself but held my tongue. " So I see you moved in next door. You new here?" I asked. " Yea, I come from Wyoming. Been there?" " A couple times. Now hush the hockey games on." I yell to him, and grin as I see him almost trip trying to run to watch. "OMG I love hockey!" He says, looking like a fan girl. I giggle, and turn the volume up, and we put our feet up at the same time.
