The Aftermath

So basically after Jim reset time and Toby is the one who found the amulet and Jim now starts to flirt with Claire to get his girlfriend back. Skip to those parts of Jim making Claire fall in love with her.

It was another extraordinary day at Arcadia Oaks. Jim arrives at the Nuñez's home to pick Claire up for their date.

Jim knock on the front door.

Claire: Oh hi Jim! You're quite early.

Jim: Oh yeah uh, sorry I don't wanna be late for our 'hangout' date.

Claire: Aww, okay let me just ho get my stuff. Stay outside or dad will spot you. I'm coming.

Jim: Alright.

A couple minutes later, Claire exits the house.

Claire: Come on.

Jim: Great let's go.

Jim takes her to the a nearby resto, the one that fits his budget of course.

Jim: I hope you don't mind eating here, I just budget my allowance.

Claire: No, it's okay. It's nit like we're working yet. I appreciate it. Thank you.

Jim: Great uh, let's go then. After you m'lady.

After eating and talking non stop...

Claire: I'm stuffed. I like the food here. It's delicious. Thank you.

Jim: Glad you liked it. So uh, I was planning on taking you somewhere else after this. Are you in? ...or will your parents get mad at you?

Claire: No I told them I'll be our 'till 7.

Jim: Great! Shall we?

Claire giggles.

Claire: We shall. You're so charming.

Jim: Well I was your knight and shinung armor before.

Claire: Huh?

Jim: Oh uh, i-it's just an expression. Now come on.

They rode their bikes and Jim leads her to the forest.

Claire: Why are you taking me here?

Jim: Trust me, you'll love it.

They parked their bikes below a shady tree then Jim takes her to the very center of the forest.

Jim: Come on, we'll miss the sunset.

Soon, they reached a big tree.

Jim: Hope you're a fan of tree climbing.

Claire: What? But I never climbed a tree before.

Jim offers his hand.

Jim: Do you trust me?

Claire: Well, yes.

Jim: Then come on, I'll help you up.

Claire hesitates.

Jim: Come on, I'll protect you no matter what.

Claire accepts his hand and soon theybreached the top of the tree's branches.

Claire: Woah, we're...very high!

Jim: Don't worry, if you fall I'll catch you.

He says then he winks at her.

Claire: Idiot.

They sat together at the top branch looking into the horizon, watching the beautiful sunset. Soon they see fireflies flying around them.

Claire: Wow, it is amazing here. How did you know this place?

Jim: .....My father used to take me here when I was a kid. He's the one who taught me how to climb trees. He told me that this is where she confessed his feelings to my mom.

Claire: O-oh.

Claire develops a slight blush in her cheeks.

Jim: Claire...

Claire: Yes?

Jim: We've been dating and known each other for a while now. And....I was wondering if...

You wanted to take our relationship to the next step?

Claire: I-

Jim: I-it's completely alright if you don't want to.

Claire: I was gonna say yes.

Jim: R-really?!?

Claire: Why not?

Jim looks at her with loving eyes. She does the same.

Jim: You know, the be honest with you, you were already my girlfriend back then. For 3 years.

Claire: I don't know what you're talking about....

Jim: I'll tell this to you but we'll keep it to ourselves only. We don't wanna mess up the timeline.

Claire: ....okay?

Jim: I used to be the trollhunter. Back on my original timeline, you were my girlfriend already, Tobes was there with us, and I was the Trollhunter. I came back in time to save him. Because when I was the Trollhunter, he died in the end. So I came back to change it. And on this timeline, I let Tobes be the trollhunter, then maybe the timeline would be different.

Jim looks at Claire who is staring at him all throughout.

Jim: You don't believe me don't you? I don't expect you to-

Claire: I believe you.

Jim: Really?

Claire: Yeah. Now I know why. The first time I met you in school, when I saw you, I had a sudden feeling in my mind. Like I've known you before. But I don't have any memories of you.

Jim: Really?!? Then....then maybe our friends do too! Oh wait, nevermind. It's too dangerous. Promise this is only between us?

Claire: Of course.

Jim: I love you.

Claire: I...love you too.

Soon their lips met.

Claire: Oh shoot what time is it?

Jim: 6:30... I gotta get you home.

Claire: I agree. Come on.

After some minutes, they arrived at Claire's house.

Claire: Thank you for today, Jim. I really enjoyed your company.

Jim: Same here. See you tomorrow at school.

They had one last kiss.

Claire: Night.

Jim: Good night.
